Re: 3rd April UEFA Cup

Both german sides should look to take a healthy advantage to their away ties. Leverkusen in particular who face a daunting prospect of going to Russia for the return leg. Bayern aswell would look to put Getafe to bed in their first leg. A German double looks the way for me at the minute. Wouldnt touch Fiorentina at those odds and have a slight fancy of the Gers.

Cheers Cinny. Looks a tough tough game for Rangers to me. I dont know much about Sporting but i wouldnt touch Rangers at home in this sort of competition. well not at that price. they look about an 11/8 shot to me

sporting lisbon looked a very average team in the last round against bolton reserves from what i saw on tv, rangers at ibrox at 23-20 billy hills looks very appealing to me at 1st glance

Re: 3rd April UEFA Cup

Ive been looking forward to this the past week or so and im going to get stuck into what i posted awhile back, the two german sides Munich and Leverkusen paying out at around a 6/4 double.

Sporting have looked very average indeed so far and i fancy rangers to beat them tomorrow night.

Re: 3rd April UEFA Cup

Rangers for me too as Portugese sides from what i remember never do too well in Scotland and there league form this year looks pretty poor, the only snag i have is that they did put up a decent display away to Bolton but with Boltons form this year i doubt we can take to much from that game plus Rangers unlike the trotters will be well up for this match.

Evens looks a very decent price if u ask me.

not that I'm betting in this match, but bettingwise, value is on laying Leverkusen @ 1.67 by Betfair. Zenit have knocked out Villareal and Marseille, their season is back in swing, just don't understand how the home team are such shortpriced favourites.

changed my mind, I'm now on Zenit (+0.75) @ 2.19 by SBO

also believe full strength Fiorentina will be too good for PSV, but prices too thin.

watched the highlights of that match on eurosport this afternoon and agree with you that sporting looked very average against a poor bolton side , they scored in last 5 minutes of the match when bolton had to score to get through.
I'm on Rangers tonight

I concur. Well done, madam.

How bad are Rangers btw? It's like a team of snooker players or summat. All weird shaped and funny lookin' and unable to actually do anything with a football or move without looking like... well, a team of snooker players. Playing for a 0-0 at home too. Way to go. Just realised they have a fella playing for them called Steve Davis.

Re: 3rd April UEFA Cup

Rangers were utterly miserable - given that their schedule gets more hectic from now on in I'll be laying the b**locks off them.

Their defence, bar Cuellar, must be the worst to ever get this far in a European competition...Kirk Broadfoot FFS! Sasa Papc FFS! DAVIE WEIR FFS!!!!

You can say that 0-0 aint a bad result but that's only because Sporting were almost as bad, Liedson must be just about the worst first choice striker at a top Euro club at the moment.

The 5.0 on Celtic to win the League might not be the worst punt in the world

Next 2 games away to Dundee United (seem a bogey team for Rangers last few years) and away to Celtic and that 5.0 could be a pretty valueable bet.

I am going to have some of that anyways. 7 of Rangers 9 SPL games left are also away which will make it difficult.

The leagues not over yet.

I really don't rate this side at all. Cueller i do think is an amazing defender but the rest are average at best.
