1-2nd April Champions League

UEFA Champions League
01 Apr 19:45 Roma v Man Utd 2.60 3.00 2.75
01 Apr 19:45 Schalke v Barcelona 3.40 3.20 2.10
02 Apr 19:45 Arsenal v Liverpool 2.25 3.00 3.25
02 Apr 19:45 Fenerbahce v Chelsea 3.75 3.10 2.00

Odds Bet365

Barca and Chelsea look tempting @ those odds, watched Liverpool play Fenerbache away in Turkey and was not to impressed with them allthough they did win in the end due to Carraghers mistake, Chelsea should put up a much better fight and on form at the moment with Drogba coming back to his best after dipping a wee bit since the African nations cup.
Man U too maybe as I don't think they have anything to fear against the Romans and could sneak this on the counter, especially with the form Ronaldo is in.

Re: 1-2nd April Champions League

Roma +1/4 over Manchester Utd.

United is on a roll and scoring seemingly at will lately. With that being the case, the handicap is inflated and rightly so since the bookmakers expect United to be a popular choice by the masses on Tuesday. So far, that has been the case with the odds for a United win steadily dropping. You don't seem Roma as an underdog at home very often and rightly so. Roma is the choice to at least get a draw and we give them a reasonable chance for a nice upset win paying a juicy 2.80 or better.

Re: 1-2nd April Champions League

In this phase of competition, maybe simple sense could do the thing.

I will exclude Arsenal-Liverpool game from every combination, since any outcome is not a surprise. Low scoring game probably...
and I can see troubles for Arsenal's attack trying to break solid guests defense...and Torres again, he can score always...no bet for me.

The other three games...at first sight we have clear situation.

MUtd is the best team in the world currently...their atomic game vs. A.Villa under heavy rain shower was really something You have to respect....imagine their motivation in Rome!
Everyone knows that I don't like Italian football....with or without Totti, tomorrow at Olimpico Mutd will win...and not just because I rate Mudt much better then Rome...
Easy.

I have almost the same opinion about two other games...Barca don't love to play away, but they're better then Schalke...Fener is always dangerous in front of their fanatic fans...
but...you can't play the same game you have played vs. Porto or Inter and one vs. Chelsea...they must hold in-form Drogba...
Away wins.

I will try to write some more about mentioned games tomorrow.

Alright there lads , how's it goin ??

Here's a daft bet ...all four games to draw ! Three five quid trebles and a a roll up as well. twenty quid well spent !. Land one of the trebs and you'll have about 135 quid in yur pocket.
Get all four and pick up about 950 smackers, lovely jubbly.
Tough part is not letting the old girl find out

Good luck to one and all.

Re: 1-2nd April Champions League

I never trust backing on the first leg only so I'm backing Liverpool to go through against Arsenal at over evens and Man U at very short odds (2/5) to go through against Roma.

Laying the half time / full time Chelsea tomorrow.

No interest in the Barca game whatsoever.

2-0 United. Just when Roma were starting to look dangerous too.

Fenerbahce – Chelsea

been thinking about this game today, and only thing I see is over. Fener is attacking minded team, Kezman and Semih can hit any net, with good balls from thier midfielders, while defense is not that good. Chelsea have, oh, we all know Chelsea, they can defenetly score tonight. If someone scores in first 30 minutes, my bet is in, if not

over 2,5 @ 2,40

Fenerbahce or draw 1.75 Centrebet for me. Chelsea miss Cech and a draw is not bad against a very good turkish team. They are especially good on home soil.

Re: 1-2nd April Champions League

For those like me, who dont really think it is worth betting on champs league, just a few thoughts.

I like over in Arsenal-Liverpool game. Reasoning is Arsenal are a bit better then Liverpool, and we can expect the to try to dominate the game by keeping tight in the back and gradually pushing the guests back. the best way to disrupt these tactics is by scoring a fast goal, especially in the beginning when Arsenal wont be attacking much. So the question is can Liverpool score an early goal. If they can, then we can get a bit more open game, and over looks feasible. If they cant, well, then they cant. So my choice would be liverpool to score first, and even a bit on L/A HT/FT. Still over looks juicy.

Chelsea.
Well, Fener are probably seeing this as the most important game ever. Knowing the Turks, that can be their position. But still, we have another hungry team there. While Arsenal and Liverpool have seen finals of CL recently, Chelsea are still waiting for the honors to play in finals, so Chelsea see this match with more emotions than the other English teams. I can see them ready to fight for a victory in Istambul, and though Fener are a great team, and this years Fener is the best we have ever seen, I tend to bet on Chelsea tonight. Taken how emotional the Turks will be, if anything goes wrong, they wont recover. So 0-2 could easily happen

Re: 1-2nd April Champions League

maybe I'm crazy but I'm going for over 2.5 goals Arsenal-Liverpool
Arsenal's 75% of homegames went to over and liverpool's 50%.
and odd 2.5 is good for me to put some money.
