Re: Champions League 4/5th March

tip from the scotsman paper today is to do a yankee on

Barcelona
Man Utd
Arsenal
Seville

Just worked it out and it pays £52 for £11 with Lads but if you think Man Utd, Barcelona and Seville are certs then its a free bet on Arsenal cause Man U/Barca/Seville winning returns £11 and pence.

Ive went with the initial treble i stated, utd, barcelona chelsea 7/5 also added into an accumulator celtic not to score 8/13 which i think has a super chance and lyon not to score @ 8/11. Good luck tonight folks im looking forward to it

I still have more faith even in depleted Arsenal then in Milan. Whatched first game and was really impresssed with gunners. Milan was solid as always, but Arsenal have had the edge in that game. I think fro those both teams aint vital if they play home or away and 0-0 result in first game suits imho better Arsenal then Milan. 2,05 offered on Gunners to go to the next round are great for me.

Think Fenerbahce's keeper was on Sevilla tonight too going by his performance so far, two shocking errors to gift Sevilla 2 goals.

Re: Champions League 4/5th March

Who do you class as "the better teams"? Barca and Madrid who have both been shocked by minnows in the past two weeks? Chelsea who have been beaten in the cup by a poor Spurs side who lost 4-1 at the weekend? Liverpool who were humbled in the FA cup? Or Arsenal who were outplayed earlier in the season by that sack of shit from Middlesborough?

Any team can have a bad game mate. I wouldn't think Sir Alex is exactly shitting himself about coming up about any team at the moment (as long as Ronaldo stays fit that is).

Re: Champions League 4/5th March

In fairness thats the same utd team who were humbled home and away by man city and beat 2-1 at upton park the same team who chelsea thrashed 4-0 at the weekend. The Champions league race is really wide open, theres no outstanding team this year.

Re: Champions League 4/5th March

i was just saying there is better teams still left in the c.l than lyon......and if utd play like that again they could well be going out.....i agree with cinny there is no stand out team this year.....lyon could have got something there tonight.....a better team would have got something there tonight......lyon were 1 of the weakest teams left in it......

Re: Champions League 4/5th March

I think the best bet for the money tonight has to be Porto -0.5 @1.71
Porto are fantastic at home and Shalke have lost their last 3 Bundesliga matches. Plus Shalke can progress even if they lose.

Re: Champions League 4/5th March

scotsman paper tip today in Raul to score 1st

I think all the games are nicely balanced and really could go either way. I've done Chelsea on my mad accie bet but am getting slightly concerned.
