Re: Champions League 4 Dec

The difference between Italian football and the Sweden-Norway, Israel-Russia game is that this happens in Italian football every season.

At the end of each season you find 2-3 games in the closing weeks each week having the draw priced as todays game where 9 times out of 10 it comes off.

I wouldn't worry about the AC fans wanting a performance. Italian football fans are well known for ignoring meaningless CL games with many before failing to fill even half the stadium for games like this.

I am on the draw @ 2.20.

I'm not doubting the logic mate but like I say, it only takes one chance and the deadlock is broken. Chances are going to happen, however tight they try to play. It may only be four or five chances in the 90 minutes but the strikers aren't going to be thinking about anything else but putting the ball away when they see the goal in front of them.

Doesn't have to end 0-0 mate

If Benfica stay 2-0 up or improve on that score come the 70th minute or so i can see some value in laying the draw which by then in the Celtic game would be around 1.25 i imagine.

Reason being is both sides might just try and make a game of it knowing that they will both be through pretty much for certain.

Celtic can be backed at around 5 on betfair now to make mine a no lose bet.

Not that they looking like scoring mind, If anything the Italians could net again

Rooting for the Scots is getting to be a bit of a worrying habit for me these days

That's the trouble with you Scots, always having to rely on other teams to do you a favour

Let's hope they play their first leg at home or they can forget about going any further.
