Hi komp,
the reasons for my bet are explained in detail above. thanks for the GL wishes, you need that in every match you stake money on. If this was the 1st match of the round the odds on Stuttgart would have been between 1.9 and 2.0. the reason I backed Rangers last time was because Stuttgart were missing a lot of important players, who have now returned. Win or lose this is a value bet. yup I like this little smilie
may the best team win.

Czech friends?
what do you think about the draw by Steaua v Slavia Prague? Realistically they should be happy with a point, ensuring the Uefa Cup place. They've got a bit of an injury crisis, I can imagine them trying to defend the one point by all means. opinions? anyone know what the pitch conditions are?

I too like the Stuttgart bet & am heartened with the previews on RP & SL
STUTTGART TO PLAY SPOILER: Bettingzone Football Betting News - Premier League Betting, Champions League, Previews, Odds & Data.

BETTING BOX
FIXED ODDS
2pts Stuttgart to beat Rangers at 5/4 (Paddy Power). Woeful campaign so far but bang-in-form and desperate to get a win for the fans.
Winless Stuttgart can throw a spanner in the works of Rangers' Champions League qualification hopes when they meet at the Gottlieb Daimler Stadium on Tuesday night.
The reigning German title holders have endured a miserable campaign so far, propping up Group E having lost all four matches to date.
So the final couple of games mean that Stuttgart are playing for little more than pride - and that should be motivation enough for them to land a 5/4 wager for us.
In-form midfielder Thomas Hitzlsperger has already begun to rally his side into action by saying that they owe this to the fans while their recent form in the Bundesliga has taken a distinct turn for the better.
Four successive wins domestically have hauled them up to seventh place with the last two wins - 3-1 against leaders Bayern Munich and a 4-1 demolition of Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend - particularly noteworthy efforts.
Hitzlsperger got on the scoresheet on Saturday and went on to say that he was confident his side can get the three points against the Scots.
Rangers warmed up by beating Falkirk 3-1 in the SPL and are on the verge of the knockout stages.
Success here and a loss for Lyon at Barcelona will ensure their progress and continue the recent feel-good factor being experienced north of the border.
Walter Smith has no new injury worries to contend with but the Germans are going to set a very stern examination in current mood and are well worth a bet at the odds available

Once again the bookies are writing short prices for the teams who have got something to play for (see England yesterday) and therefore odds of 2.4 on Stuttgart are very tasty. Stuttgart have imroved dramatically in the Bundesliga, culminating in a thrashing of Bayern München, now that a lot of the injured kay players are back. Of course they will be playing for pride only here, but I'm sure they will want to quit the competition with their heads held high, millions watching on the tv. Naturally it is too early for team news, but, Rangers price too short . Value bet here, no way are Rangers better than Stuttgart.
Stuttgart to win @ 2.4 by Canbet

I'm going to disagree slightly Diomed cause I don't think it was a lucky win for Rangers. I will agree that they had the lions share of the game but what I can remember is that they where a better team for the 1st hour but only managed to score when Rangers where down to 10 men when Ferguson was off getting a head wound fixed.
Once Stuttgart scored I don't know if it's because they decided to sit back or what but Rangers controlled the last 30 minutes.

I'm looking through Blue Tinted glasses and I agree somewhat but over the last couple of seasons Rangers have improved and looking at this seasons results in Europe you can definately see that as not many people would have thought they could have went to Lyon and win 3-0.

Inter -1/2 V Fenerbahce HT
Inter rested Zlatan on the weekend for this match. They are an excellent home side while Fenerbahce are traditionally weak travellers. Inter are away to PSV next who will need to win to advance. Fenerbahce play at home to CSKA. Fenerbahce will be happy just to qualify and they will see the CSKA match as their most important. Low odds for Inter win, so Inter to lead at half time is my bet.

Re: Champions League 27-28 Nov
Hi guys, there is a good bonus on unibet for double Siviglia-Lione,
i take@9.00 + bonus
Siviglia X (with a point is probably both teams will go next round)
Lione 1 ( Lione must win no other chance and Barca i don' t think will play to die)

The pitch in Romania is horrible after weekends derby, Slavia will play with deffensive strategy on quick counters and it many times brought 0:0 result - CS 0:0 with small stakes maybe

Re: Champions League 27-28 Nov
Fancy CSKA to take advantage of their last chance tonight. Imagine it'll be freezing there as usual, CSKA are a well rested side, since the league ended a couple of weeks ago. PSV missing a few players. Odds of 2.2 are available.

Re: Champions League 27-28 Nov
Wagner Love, Jo and Carvalho have all been left out of CSKA's squad.
Three important players missing. Certainly wouldn't bet on CSKA now, though I wouldn't bet on PSV either.

I think tonight MU will play a draw.
Out of form, without Scholes , i think friendly draw like a gift to Portugals will be Ok for Alex Ferguson pocket.
9/10 a draw

I like Stutgart as well. We are playing greta football lately. Add to it that there will be no pressure on Stuttgart.

Ronaldinho only on the bench tonight, for those with an interest in the Lyon v Barca game.

I am pretty sure Manchester want to win this group - they will likely have to win out as Roma should. Manachester rested Ronaldo and he is in today. Plus Sporting are not very good away from home - they only took 1 point from their last two domestic matches! Manchester -3/4 @1.84
