Re: UEFA Cup - 4th Oct...

UEFA Cup
Soccer - Elfsborg/Dynamo Bucharest - total Over 2½ (+100)
for the regulation time held on Oct 4 at 12:00pm [pending]

The situation: Elfsborg won away 2-1 in the first leg. To advance, Elfsborg, with two away goals, needs just a draw. Dinamo needs a two-goal win, which is what I think will drive the game toward the over...Elfsborg played tight games in their earlier Champions League run, but they weren't facing a team in need of goals and they have been conceding quite a few in league play.

UEFA Cup
Soccer - FC Brugge/Brann Bergen - total Over 2½ (-139)
for the regulation time held on Oct 4 at 1:30pm [pending]

The situation: Club Brugge won 1-0 away in the first leg. To advance, Brann must overcome the 1-goal disadvantage and also score more than one away goal themselves. Brann have scored 13 goals in their last three away games...they have played UEFA games this summer that finished 4-3, 8-0, 6-3 and 2-1. Their efense is very, very suspect, and so they'll have to try to power out a victory against a team that has conceded in six of eight league games so far and scored in every game.

I'm on Everton at Evens as I think it's a decent price. If any of the naltys had been converted then they would have been a lot shorter and with them having to score and Arteta back I'm confident they will win tonight.

Re: UEFA Cup - 4th Oct...

It was on Ladbrokes shop coupon Quandram.

I watched the Dnipro v Aberdeen game and decided I wanted a wee bit more on Everton and went to Lads and they where only offering 1.70 WTF. I was considering jumping in the motor to go back up to get some more of the EVENS. (never did but might get better in-running soon)

Not a good start mind you.

I'm trusting a half time rocket and have had a nibble at the 5/1 on Everton

The better bet would probably be for them to qualify I reckon. Then you're only needing one goal for a shout.

Having said that, they've just netted

I did look at that one ODM but i chose to hope for the early goal and maybe trade some if it felt right... lets see how this develops

Re: UEFA Cup - 4th Oct...

So that'll be Everton holding on for the draw then, ODM being proved right and me extending the amount of money i'm loaning the bookies (they love me, i charge almost no interest).

Come on you useless bastards, PROVE ME WRONG!

PS - could Yakubu have been any more wank tonight (and most other times i've seen him in an Everton shirt?
