Re: Champions League 2nd-3rd OCT

I would be really surprised if Rangers got anything against Lyon.

Real Madrid could interest me - as well as PSV away to Inter (i'm mad)

Agree on Valencia Win as Chelsea are lost. If you can get nearer EVENS about Barca I'm on

i,m on barca , stutgart in off form play very bad , Roma should be a good bet too as we know MU best goal keeper is out for the game , they more focus on priemier to race ars and chelsea
Valenica looks good to me..strong at home..going well this season with only one defeat and 5 wins..Terry possibly out for Chelsea to add to their problems...(mr)
Sevilla - Slavia Prague

Slavia - Vladimir Smicer and Mickael Tavares stay at home due to illness!

Smicer is not such a blow, he is very experienced, has a big name and his personal presence has a good influence on the rest of the squad, but has not played full-time yet and even without him Slavia managed important victories...

Tavares is a major blow for Slavia, he is one of the most important players in the midfield, excellent technique, passing, he assisted most of the goals and above all both goal against Ajax....

This is not good....

Also Drizdal stays injured... another player in form...(scorpiored)

Re: Champions League 2nd-3rd OCT

Sevilla and Verder bremen my double

rest of games no bet for me, Lyon should do the job of course, but was disasterous against barca i dont trust them, as for valencia... i am mad to see people placing money against chelsea, perhaps chelsea is sleeping at the moment, does anybody knows when they will wake up? valencia is not that good as people imagine, NO BET

I agree with these two. Lazio are off to a poor start in the Serie A, plus Rocchi was injured and likely won't play. With Madrid playing as well as they are, I think a draw is the best Lazio can hope for. Madrid -1/4 is a good bet.

I don't think Inter can win by more than a goal without Zlatan and some other injuries and suspensions (Cruz, Maicon, Burdisso and Cordoba). So Ajax +1.5 looks good.

Re: Champions League 2nd-3rd OCT

Inter is playing vs. PSV , but never mind, they have to win after one loss they already have, and they will play to win.
Their last victory, when Inter crushed Rome at Olimpico with 4-1 is a perfect boost.
PSV started well. but they're another team away from home, and that's the fact even in their national championship, where PSV failed to win at two last away games and managed to take two draws vs. Breda and Twente.

Early thoughts for now, and I must say that offered @ 5/4 for Valencia looks solid.
The crucial disadvantage for Chelsea is not only the fact that they're totally out of form, but they're without a coach who fits this level of competition, and in games like this, against clever and in-form Spanish side, at hot ground in Valencia, this is a serious blow.
Not to mention absence of Terry...without him their defense is much weaker.
If we're looking for time to oppose mighty Chelsea at good price, it must be now.

Re: Champions League 2nd-3rd OCT

I don't usually bet heavily on the Ch. League but some favourites seem quite ok this time so I may give it a go. My choices have already been mentioned so I am in agreement with everyone that has posted on these games.

Werder Bremen should beat Olympiakos. The Greeks have a terrible away record at the Champions League. Furthermore they look like they can not control possesion and they will need loads of luck to avoid defeat in this one. Bremen scored 8 against Arminia, 3 will do it for me this time.

Sevilla also looks good based on what I've read above. I watched some of their last game against Zaragossa (Sevilla lost 2-0) but this one is a different story altogether and I find it hard to believe that they will not win against Slavia.

I will also consider handicap bets in these two games. I also consider Lyon but more info will be needed for this one.

Re: Champions League 2nd-3rd OCT

Champions League is probably the most profitable competition for gamblers, since there were number of predictable rounds in past, even two weeks ago, when only Chelsea failed to win.
It wont be a surprise if we see similar results tomorrow.

For me, Lyon, Arsenal and Barca, besides mentioned Inter, sounds logic.
