My favourite club, today, play agaist Rangers. Like you texonja I'm also with Zvezda today but when we talking about betting no place for feelings.
My money is also on Rangers. On this odds against ,this year, poor team of Red Star imo this is must bet match.
Also Red Star have new coach. He lead them only one game in Saturday against Cukaricki (newcomer in domestic league) and they played only 0-0
My stake will be medium only because they play against my team.
GL
1-0 FT No beer tonight because my favourite club lost the game after solid game. fcuking 90th minutes after one mistake they lost
Anyway with this money I can buy ticket for second match and we will see what will be there in hell
Lazio knocked me off a decent accumulator with Leeds, Luton and Blackpool all winning..the worst price too..gutted!Noticed lazio had 2 players sent off too
UEFA Champions League
Soccer - Tampere/Rosenborg - total Over 2½ (+102)
for the regulation time held on Aug 15 at 11:00am [pending]
Leakiest defense in Europe, just about, plays on the road to the upstarts Tampere, and I'd imagine Rosenborg won't choose to sit back and defend. This one should see both teams score, and thus overs are a distinct possibility.
Soccer - Sarajevo/Dynamo Kiev - total Over 2 (-143)
for the regulation time held on Aug 15 at 1:00pm [pending]
Sarajevo looking for an upset against a team that is struggling early in its league but has a history of attacking play in Europe. Sarajevo has not played tactically so far, and of course it's not going to help them to play this one 0-0 at home...I see these two coming at each other, with many counter opportunities.
Others I've considered for overs are Fenerbahce-Anderlecht, but I'm not sure about Fener's attack with their injuries, and Steaua-BATE at O 2. Just don't know what to expect of these two though, any help is appreciated on these.
Well, I have had a punt on Toulouse for tonight's game. I just think that Rafa will have his mind on Sunday's tie with Chelsea. A 1-0 defeat would be more than acceptable, safe in the knowledge that we can defeat them in just under 2 week's time at the Bastion of Invicibility, that is Anfield.
I watched Toulouse on Setanta at the weekend. They held Lyon and snatched a goal late on through the highly rated Elmander. Wouldnt be suprised at all if they operated the same tactic against us. Bear in mind it will be played in 30 degree heat at 3.30 in the afternoon over there.
Mascherano sitting nice and tight infront of the defence and again Voronin sitting in the hole. Solid on the defence and set up with defence and conceding few (if any) goals. I just think that > 3/1 is just too good to refuse for the frogs.
You know what, we'll probably go out there and win, but I do fancy Toulouse at the generous odds on offer.
Cant see how Rafa who is so in love with the Champions League will accept anything other than a win tonight. Yes Chelsea on Sunday but this is only the second game of the season. IMO Liverpool will have too much for Toulose.
I think that this favourites should win easy today:
Liverpool against Toulouse, Fenerbahce against Anderlecht, Ajax against Slavia, Werder Bremen against Dinamo Zagreb, Arsenal against Sparta and maybe but i am not 100% sure Sevilla against AEK (This smells as a suprise to me, dont know why..)
Also i thonk that this teams wich are as favourites should have a problems today and here i will look for suprises:
Spartak against Celtic,
Rosenborg against Tampara,
Steaua agaisnt BATE Borisov,
Dinamo Kiev against FK Sarajevo.
About remaind games,
Zurich - Besiktas,
Salzburg - Shakhtar i have not any idea what i could play and i will probably skip them.
All coments are welcome to my advices and predictions..Thank you...
FC SEVILLA-AEK ATHENS.AEK finished last year in second place nine points from the top(OLYMPIAKOS) and eight points in front the third team(PAO ATHENS).the away stats in greece league was 7-5-3, 20-24.In 06/07 3rd qualifying round won away HEART(SCOTLAND) 1-2.In the group stage the away record was 0-1-2.(MILAN 3-0,LILLE 3-1,ANDERLECHT 2-2.)AEK is very diffrerent than last year. From the possible first eleven 4-5-1(gk MORETTO,rb RAMOS,lb ARRUABARRENA,cb DELLAS,cb GERALDO ALVES,dm ZIKOS,dm NSALIVA,rm MANDUCA,lm JULIO CEZAR,om RIVALDO.cf LYMPEROPOULOS)six are new MORETTO(BENFICA),RAMOS(MOGI MIRIM),GERALDO ALVES(PACCOS FERREIRA),ARRUABARRENA(VILLARREAL),NSALIWA(PANIONI OS),RIVALDO(OLYMPIAKOS).I think MORETTO needs time to replace SORRENTINO(RECREATIVO HUELVA).The two cb(DELLAS,ALVES)are strong when the ball is on the airbut very slow when the ball is on the ground. Also the rb(RAMOS) and lb(ARRUABARRENA)are very good when the team attacking. That means very experience ZIKOS(CL final with MONAKO)and NSALIWA must try very hard in defense.LYMPEROPOYLOS is slow for away games but can keep the ball very good and pass right and left. The famous BRAZILIAN RIVALDO is the star of the team,MANDUCA and CEZAR are BRAZILIANS also.AEK coach is CERRA FERRER(MALLORCA,REAL BETIS,BARCELONA).300 BETIS funs went to the airport and wellcome the SPANISH coach and team from GREECE.AEK has nothing to loose, president NIKOLAIDIS said that the teams budzet dont depend from the UEFA money.Payers to watch from AEK:RAMOS,NSALIWA,ARRUABARRENA,RIVAlDO.AEK also has the young and very good cb PAPASTATHOPOULO(playied with GREECE U19 in EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP U19 until final) who is going to play if SERRA FERRER try five men in defence or replace ALVES.you never know what the SPANISH coach has in his mind.To have chance from this game AEK must play 100% and make no mistakes. The team has the talent to play good futball and can score.....
However I just think that 3/1 is too high for a team high on confidence after bouncing back aginst Lyon. Liverpool have traditionally done well in Europe because they have defended well and caught teams on the counter attack. When we play the 'small' teams (like Grazer AK a couple of years back) we have some times struggled. Liverpool under Benitez have not excelled at controlling the game and attacking. They do better when teams attack them and they can hit with the counter punch.
Liverpool will probably win, but that 3/1 price just looks too big to me.

Toulouse only got into the Champs League qualifiers due to an abandoned game end of last season and some freakish end of season results. Previous to that they finished 16th,13th and 16th in the league and prior to that were in the second division. Although their home record last year was good they suffered some heavy defeats as well. Yes they beat Lyon at home but remeber that Lyon are going through a few problems themselves at the moment after losing key players over the Summer. Just cant see the inexperienced French side getting anything against the experienced Scouse European machine. As long as they mark out Elmender which im sure Carragher can do then I cant see the French scoring and its just a case of scoring maybe 1 or 2 goals. I predit Liverpool win 2-0.
yeah agree there, toulouse really dun seem to have the european pedigree, even if u buy good players without experience it's not gonna to be of much use(not saying that toulouse buy many good players anyway..) the quality difference is there, toulouse beat lyon with a man advantage for slightly over a half, lyon is certainly not as invincible as previously...surely some risk in siding with liverpool win, but it's honestly the more logical choice the way i see it...
