I'm actually going to chance a point here on Tampere at 3/1.
Tampere are currently top of their domestic league, 13 games into the season and have won all 6 home games so far. They don't have a great European pedigree, but they have just won their first ever Champions League games, albeit against a San Marinan team. Psychologically they should be as ready for this game as they'll ever be.
I'm opposing Levski as their domestic season is yet to start, match fitness possibly being a little lacking.
Taking my run of luck into consideration, Tampere will probably get hammered here, but I feel the odds on them winning at home when they're atop the league in the middle of the season are too big (or Levski's odds are too short).
I suppose Tampere are not strong enough to break Bulgarians defense, as I believe Levski will be concentrated not to receive.
A point or a single goal is more than enough for the visitors, so I will leave this game alone.

Tampere @ 3/1 (Betsson) - 1 point
I wish you luck, seems reasonable, Tampere is currently +0.5 with the handicap and the money's coming in about even, a little more on the Tampere side to nick a draw. One thing, though, is that every year the CL teams that enter play in the second round are all out of season and not match fit, so I wouldn't single this one out. I'm taking a couple of favorites today and neither has played a real game since May...

Dundalk a 3-0 WINNER for me, which helps since all my theorizing of last night has completely tanked. Sarajevo won 2-1 at Genk, Elfsborg won 1-0 at Debrecen.
Take a moment to recall that in the past three years, teams in this situation had 0 wins, 2 draws and 9 losses. Today they took 2 wins, along with some of my money. Makes me want to puke. Really.
Quick look at the three games that fell into my previous theory (dogs of +1 or more at even money or better:
OK, so where do we go from here? Tomorrow's games have no plays in the Big Dog model; there's a +1 and a +2 for -190 or something. In today's crappy theory, Besiktas is -2, +118, which I wouldn't take, and Red Star Belgrade over Levadia Talinn, which Greek isn't offering a line for.
I'm going to take a look at Thursday's UEFA Cup games...Greek won't post a line on those until late tomorrow probably.
Having just watched the Rangers v Zeta game can I just advise you not to watch the 2nd Rangers goal, you will be very very annoyed. Very bad decision letting it stand. Even the first goal had a hint of a foul on it.

Unlucky with your pick.
Thanks, I didn't take that one, it was just one of the plays in this new "system" I was looking closely at.
Champions League
Soccer - FH Hafnarfjordur/Bate Borislov - total Over 2 (-185)
for the regulation time held on Aug 1 at 1:30pm [pending]
Whoa. Lotta juice. But the Icelanders are big scorers and they're at home, where they need to put in a big performance before having to cross the continent for the return leg. BATE can score some goals, too, so I'll be very surprised if this one doesn't at least push. When the line gets to 2.5 +108 later, I'll take some of that, too.
This will probably--probably--be my only play for tomorrow.
I was writing about this game in another forum, and while I was writing, somebody hit the under, so I'm adding the over:
Champions League
Soccer - Domzale/Dinamo Zagreb - total Over 2 (-141)
for the regulation time held on Aug 1 at 1:15pm [pending]
Seems a similar bet, I don't know why I was hesitating. It's probably this low a line because of the previous round, where Zagreb played a 1-1 draw in its first game at Khazar, where they were expected to win big, and favorite Domzale opened with a 1-0 at home against Tirana. I didn't see either game, but the results don't fill me with confidence that both teams will play aggressively. Maybe though that this is second round and the teams are evenly matched, Zagreb will revert to its in-season form (they scored more than 2 a game last season, and showed no mercy in their games).
sorry folks i missed all these results. Hopefully soon i can find a rythm and post them up. It keeps me right too.. How you all do?

All four British clubs are odds-on to make it through Champions League qualifying - with the acca on offer at 11/4.
Arsenal, Liverpool, Celtic all have one more hurdle to overcome to reach the lucrative group stages, while Rangers have two.
Liverpool have a testing tie against Toulouse, third in Ligue 1 last season, while Arsenal's first European clash since the departure of talismanic striker Thierry Henry will be a tough one too, against Czech side Sparta Prague.
Scottish champions Celtic face a tricky encounter with Spartak Moscow while SPL runners-up Rangers meet either 1991 European Cup winners Red Star Belgrade or Estonian side Levadia Tallinn if they overcome FK Zeta in the second qualifying round. They lead 2-0 from the home leg.
And according to the bookies it's Celtic who have the hardest task, as they are marginal 4/6 favourites with Coral to book their spot in the main draw whereas Liverpool and Arsenal are both on offer at 1/3.
"Celtic face the toughest task of the three British clubs, but we'll be hoping all the teams progress to give us the maximum British interest, and therefore maximum betting turnover," said Coral's David Stevens.
Meanwhile totesport are 11/4 about all four making it through, their spokesman Paul Petrie saying: "Obviously we don't know who Rangers are going to be playing but there is no doubt that Celtic look to be the team most likely to ruin this bet.
"Having said that, although Arsenal and Liverpool are both longs odds on, they could have got easier matches and one of them might slip up."
Meanwhile, totesport are offering 66/1 that Celtic will return to Moscow in May by making the Champions League Final.
Petrie added, "The goal for every team this year was to make it to Moscow so at least Celtic fans can claim they made it."
Last season's Champions League runners-up, Liverpool, are 1-3 with Coral to overcome Toulouse and make it to next season's tournament proper, following today's qualification draw. Fellow Premiership side Arsenal are even hotter favourites, at 1-7, to get past Sparta Prague, while Scottish Champions Celtic are 5-6 to put out Spartak Moscow.
"Celtic face the toughest task of the three British clubs, but we'll be hoping all three teams progress to give us the maximum British interest, and therefore maximum betting turnover, at the start of next season's Champions League," said Coral's David Stevens.
