I'm tempted with Russia as well. Although Spain played well Russia didnt seem to be phased and did go down fighting. I think they'd have looked on paper and thought the Spanish would be their hardest game and what they showed - I'm tempted

Greece were just dire werent they and the sooner they get on the plane back home the better, fcuking time wasting within the first 10 minutes ffs.

Russia didnt fair much better but at least they were up against a class act in Spain and showed against England in the qualifiers that if your going to play on the back foot like the Greeks do then they will get at you and are more than capable of breaking you down to score as they do possess a Couple of good young strikers.

Greece v Russia - Salzburg

A second chance, after Greece v Sweden, to pretend to your girlfriend that you'd much rather spend time with her tonight.

Russian coach Guus Hiddink is certainly not expecting Greece to open up and entertain after their 2-0 loss to Sweden despite the holders needing to bank three points after drawing a blank first time out.

And he's probably right.

Greece have a way of playing that suits them and wily coach Otto Rehhagel won't be pressing the panic button yet. That means discipline in defence, keeping their shape and trying to expose Russia's frailties in defence.

Hiddink is fully aware that there is a big gap between these two sides in terms of experience and that could be the crucial factor when push comes to shove.

Therefore, quite why the bookies make Russia clear favourites is hard to fathom.

True, Spain were excellent going forward but Hiddink was right to say that: "We took our wallets out of our pockets and gave them to the Spanish team."

Greece don't possess forwards of the calibre of David Villa and Fernando Torres but they should still have enough to carve out a win.

Back Greece in the outright market at the too big 13/5 and also have a little on one of their trademark 1-0 victories at 15/2.

I am joining all Russia backers. Their time is over. Russia is coming. Pitty that odds are slashed at places, I had some small interest already last week at 2,70 and now are down to 2,10.
Although Russians showed many weaknesses in first game I expect them to improve.
I will rise my first stakes and take also some of the lower odds.
