croatia tend to always lift against better opposition. They played terribly for about 60 minutes and still won. They cant play worse. They lack bite in midfield as well as their strikers have had good seasons in Germany and Italy ( olic Petric and Budan), so maybe they will come good this game. They looked very tired in the first game for some reason. Germanyy to win or a draw. Am tipping 1-1

Germany for me, they looked mightily impressive before this tournament started and brushed aside Poland with ease , you also feel that they have plenty more in reserve for the games that matter.

After the first round results its beginning to look like the teams that qualified from England's group are not that strong after all as the thrasing the Russians took from Spain seems to confirm.
Croatia were lucky in the end to get a result against Austria as for the majority of that match the Austrians were far the better side, I don't think the Germans will be so forgiving and will be looking to tie up the group as soon as possible to rest a few players for the next match and with the players they possess should easily do so. They do look shakey at the back now and again and can be got at but there front line and midfield is second to none and always look likely to score as and when needed.

Germany's price shortening all round. 1.75 is best with Paddy Power. You know i have a bad feelign about backing Germany in this now. Actually im with The Dude here. I fancy the Croatians to get a draw and 1-1 looks like a good call to me. I'm not salivating much at the Germany odds either to be honest. I do think they're a decent side but I'm another who's a little wary of Croatia upping their game which I believe they're capable of.

A few dodgy ones for me mainly for interest as I'm heading out. Croatia not to lose @ 2.00, draw HT @ 2.05 and first goal after 29th @ 2.05 - I need to stop those first goal bets though as alot of these games have been very open. We must be due a tight one by now.
