Re: 13th June: Netherlands v France
I just can't see the French getting beat here as they need a result in this match but I think the draw is a strong possibilty, its a bit to close to call this one for me but if i were to have a bet i'd take France on the half ball.
Hopefully this will live up to expectations and be a great match. |

Re: 13th June: Netherlands v France
Im thinking they might be goals in this one.The french have got to
score or they could be going home early, the dutch have plenty of attacking options. So im on over 2.5 goals 13/8 |

Re: 13th June: Netherlands v France
No way I'll bet on overs on a French match no matter what the prize they're giving..Someone said 2.70; No thanx..
Even in friendlies after 2-0 in 60 minutes they were trying to kill the game ![]() Vieira's back, good news for France backers; but I still don't know what kind of team Domenech will field...Anelka again..God, they'll need more luck again. Yes, we all impressed by Holland's play in the first match; but I don't think French team will give them the ball possesion as much as the İtaly gave them..Still we don't know how will they react when they meet a team giving less open space and less possesion to them..(those could be said also for İtalians before the match, but they trashed them didn't they?) Agree on draw possibility with slick; Not a bad result for Halland side specially if Italy beats Romania there..But if they score first; France will need plenty of angels of luck to cath them.. Guess I sould wait for the final score of the İtaly-Romania clash first.. |

Re: 13th June: Netherlands v France
i think france will beat the dutch tomorrow and are woefully over priced
the dutch are nowhere near as well organised as the romanians, almost every team thats opened up v france for a decade has lost. i cant see the lightweight dutch midfield and attack doing anything to put sustained pressure on the frogs, they wont beat them for pace at the back and theyll get kicked off the park if they try anything else. with the press reaction in france ringing in their ears, playing a big side and then playing at night, i think it will seem a bigger occasion than the romania game which i think will bring the french to life |

Re: 13th June: Netherlands v France
Holland is only team that have really impresed me yet (of corse Croatia too) in this tournament. France looked better then Italy so far, but there are few holes in their system. Still not that confident on Holland and double chance is too low. I can also see some goals in this game. I guess it will be pure enjoyment watching it tonight.
OVER 2,5 for me and Holland win (draw no bet) Cheers and GL |

Re: 13th June: Netherlands v France
What a fucking game that was.
Thats how football should be played. Total football. Said in some threads last season how good i think Sneijder is and he showed it there. Very Lampard-esque but far better player IMO. Holland play like that and the competition is theirs for the taken. |

Re: 13th June: Netherlands v France
Not wrong there, Kiko, Holland were absolutely fantastic tonight. Looked lethal on the counter-attack (same as they did v Italy earlier in the week), and scored some great goals, although I think Coupet probably should've done better with the 2nd and 3rd.
The worry for me over Holland will be whether they can keep that up for the rest of the tournament, or have they peaked too soon? Was France's goal offside? Looked it to me, but only got to see one replay looking along the line, and still wasn't quite sure. And I've only just realised, whose stupid idea was it that two teams qualifying from the same group can meet in the semis? It's not always been like that, has it? Surely if you've played a team in the group stages, you shouldn't have to play them again until the final. |
