The worry for me over Holland will be whether they can keep that up for the rest of the tournament, or have they peaked too soon?
Was France's goal offside? Looked it to me, but only got to see one replay looking along the line, and still wasn't quite sure.
And I've only just realised, whose stupid idea was it that two teams qualifying from the same group can meet in the semis? It's not always been like that, has it? Surely if you've played a team in the group stages, you shouldn't have to play them again until the final.

Think it was all done like that to prevent the hosts from meeting until the final (as if they would get that).
I knwo Romania beat Holland twice in qualifiers but if i was the Dutch i would roll over to the Romanians and knock both the Italians and French out in the process as they are two teams who are very dangerous once knock out stages are reached.
As for Holland hitting their peak. I dont think they have yet.
Robben and Van Persie been injured/unfit and are slowly being nursed in and its been no coincidence that once these players have been introduced in both games that the Dutch have improved immensely so once they get into the starting line up and get their fitness up i think they are going to be even more dangerous.
Not many teams will be able to claim to hitting 3 past the Italians and 4 past the French. Impressive stuff.
