Re: Euro 08 Top Goalscorer

I've just had a little bit more on Quaresma, i'm not saying that this is the main bet here but for top scorer i've added a tiny bit more e.w @ 125/1 for 3 places and 80/1 for 4 places.

I think he's going to be a major player for Portugal as the games get bigger, he's a star for Porto and he could be set for replacing Gomes who hasn't really done anything much up front in the two games he's played so far, i think he's going to give Portugal a stronger form of attack, a better option.
If Quaresma and Ronaldo can play together and judging by the 3rd goal against the Czechs they possibly can, then i dont think anybodies going to be able to stop them. These two are the reason i fancy Portugal strongly.

He's only played 10 mins in the tournement so far and has scored 1.

Here's his top 10 goals (turn your sound off, the music will kill you). His number one was scored in the qualifers.

As i said the top scorer is just a small stakes, big odds (place) bet but i suggest for the remaining Portugal fixtures he's to be considered for an Anytime and Last goalscorer bet, if thats your market.

GL Kop.

He isn't consistent enough for me to have any money on him. He reminds me of Ronaldo when he first arrived at United actually with his lack of consistency.

That bastard Podolski

Gomez had a mare and i fear Podolski shall be moved straight up front with Klose now

Hopefully Germany go out in group stages

Dont think so mate.Schweinsteiger got red card and i think that no one can play left midfielder as good as Podolski who seems to be great solution .Now its time for Klose to score some goals for Germany.I also hope that Villa would continue to score

I've not seen Gomez in German football but he must be better than he's shown in this tournie so far... 5th min vs Austria... absolute festival of shock

How has Gomez ever managed a goal? He'd struggle to get a game for Histon on that form.

Re: Euro 08 Top Goalscorer

Looks to me as if he is a domestic player who has gone far out of his depth at international level.

That is what i see anyways.

Re: Euro 08 Top Goalscorer

Well the final game tonight and its going to be one i would rather not watch.

Villa each way is in for sure now but i would love for him to stay outright top goalscorer for the beefcake return. Praying Podolski injures himself after 10 mins

Hows everyones bets doing?

Pavyluchenko is still looking good for my each way shot at 66/1 or 80/1, i forget now. 3 goals and unless we have a crazy game tonight with goals that should come in.

Ballacks on 2 goals @ 40/1 each way. A goal tonight from him would push him right into the reckoning.

In profit mainly due to Hollands 'reserves' winning and in a position to just watch the final as only remaining bets are outrights on both finalists.

Re: Euro 08 Top Goalscorer

This may be good news for us then Keeks. Even if he starts there's a good chance he may not last the 90.

Spain last won the title in 1964 but are bookmakers' favourites to beat the three-time champions who may be without inspirational leader Michael Ballack. The Germany captain, 31, has been having treatment on a calf injury that ruled him out of training on Saturday
.
Isn't Klose on 2 goals? If so, it's not beyond possibility that he might slot a couple in tonight and make our payout on Villa just a dead heat. To be honest, I'm more worried about him scoring two than Podolski scoring one.

Re: Euro 08 Top Goalscorer

Podolski 3 goals
Klose 2 goals
Schweinstiger 2 goals
Ballack 2 goals

Thats our threat just now. Even Guiza is on 2 goals for Spain although i cant see him starting this game.

Watch out for Schweisnstiger. He has a great international record of goals when you consider the lack ofm atch time he gets sometimes with many substitute appearances. I like him a lot and he always has a couple of opportunities in every game at least.

I don't rate Klose too much. Seems to only score against the weaker nations although watch the cnut bang in a hatrick.

As i already said Ballack would be great if he scored and i would have 3 of my 4 outright picks in the top 4 so would be very happy.

Whatever happens it is going to be nerve racking game. Could lay off but i am riding it, i was very confident it was a great bet pre tournament and now with one game to go im going to hope for the best.

Wish i was in CG's position and could enjoy it. I might not even watch the game.

This pick is based on Germany coach Joachim Low words that Podolski could get midfield role in German team.Competition in German attack is big(Klose,Gomez) so if Podolski plays as left wing he cant score too many goals. On the other hand Villa is on fire when he plays for Spain and i think he can be one of the best scorers on this tournament.I am just hoping that Villa will recover from a injury for game against Russia.
Pick won
