Looks a dodgy little group this doesn't it? Surely Turkey are too big a price though? playing the host nation and 2 tough teams in Portugal and Czech republic but surely there wont be much between all 4?

Portugal are slow starters artent they? I wouldnt like to bet on anyone to beat the tenacious Turks myself. that 1.8 though is tempting me though.

In the other Game Skybet go 2.8 on the Czech's updettinmg the hosts. I would like to think the Czech's have too much for the Swiss and the home support wont count as much surely?

I think quite the opposite, no chance m going to be taking Portugal. I actually think Turkey are a well organised outfit and Nihat upfront has been in terriffic form for Villareal. Part of me thinks Turkey could spring a surprise.

In the other game im think theres value in the draw, home advantage should give the swiss somewhat of a lift against an ageing czech side.

I fancy two draws for both these games - going to do small to medium bet on the draw.

I do fancy the swiss to get through this group though - i remember they was the first team in 2006 world cup not to conceed a goal and go out - that includes playing France and Ukraine. Swiss are not a shite team but to be 3rd favs to qualify is not right for a host nation.

I was thinking draws too but i'm slowly turning to Portugal, i didn't realise how well they are going to be supported in this competition either.

The president of the Portuguese Football Federation Gilberto Madaíl described his side's reception in Switzerland as "unforgettable" after thousands of fans came to greet the squad upon their arrival on Sunday.

There are 174,000 Portuguese citizens in Switzerland, mostly in the French speaking part of the country, and they made their presence felt as Luiz Felipe Scolari's side touched down. Many supporters waited for hours to see the players when they landed at Geneva airport in the afternoon after a two-hour flight from Lisbon and many more lined the streets waving their red-and-green flags as the team coach wound its way to Portugal's training base in Neuchatel.

'Beyond expectations'
Some 600 Portuguese followed the team bus by motorcycle to Neuchatel, where an estimated 10,000 fans were waiting to greet the the players. "We were sure the reception from the expatriate community would be great but this welcome was beyond all our expectations," Madaíl said. "What we saw was unforgettable. Now we should focus on working because there are many things we have to do to prepare the first match against Turkey." Portugal kick off their Group A campaign against Turkey in Geneva on Saturday.

and do not forget Turkish suporters, there are gzillion Turkey people living in Germany, which is not far from Switzerland, and there are some living in host nations as well, and they are very loud, probably will be louder than Portugese ones...

Portugal to win @1.75 banker of the euro2008

if this one ends in draw or away then, there isnt any reason to bet again in this tournament, big faulse imo

personally i dont see any other match as clear as this one

Group A is not full of tough opponents but to be honest I don't give much chance to Turkey. Actually I think we have the worst defence in the tournament.

Volkan will play as goalkeeper but not proven as he makes crucial mistakes sometimes. Also first choice right back Gokhan is injured and now a terrible player Sabri will play against magnificent Ronaldo. Centerback Servet was player of the year at Turkish league but he generally sucks against pacey forwards.

In midfield coach Fatih Terim will choose Emre as playmaker but he is away from regular football for long time. Turkey's attacking options are better than defense. At least Tuncay had a mediocre season at Boro also Nihat will be main the power while Turkey is attacking.

I advice to bet on "over 2.5 goals" for the Portugal match as odds are very valuable.
