Yours is obvious now that I look again but imagine if someone did the same thing in the Slovenian league or something. I would never check the odds so I would settle as home win.

But surely as the odds were what i had to look up you can clearly see it was a type error and the bet was an away win. As it was a mistake can it not be changed? Even if it was in the Slovenian league if it was queried i dont see why it couldn't be changed?

The trouble is, Champ1on, that while there's obviously a typo in there somewhere, who's to say it's in the 1X2 bit? The typo could've been in the odds - maybe you really did intend to back Coventry, and meant to type 5.51 (for example), but accidentally typed 1.51 instead. It might seem harsh, but it would be equally harsh on Tomerc if the admin were to give you the benefit of the doubt, promoting you instead of him.

I used to admin this competition, and we've had quite a few similar situations in past seasons. The argument always basically comes down to the same thing - the contestant is ultimately responsible for making sure they've typed their bet correctly.
