Ireland bowled superbly today to limit Bangladesh to 205 all out, infront a packed stadium full of Bangladeshi`s. In a game Bangla were expected to win, theyre probable only win infact, theyve batted pretty shoddily and were clearly showing that the pressure got to them, something they are renowned for.
Ireland need just 4.2 runs per over, and can tickle the spinners around for singles. They have 3 very good world class opening batsmen, followed by 5 good-average mid order men, and the bottom 4 are pretty rank, though they may not even be needed. Ireland recently score plus 200 against NZ and Zimbabwe, and there`s no need to take any silly risks here with the required rate so low. They beat Pakistan in the last WC and this game is almost in the bag imvho - the current
betfair odds of 2.50 Ire 1.66 Bangla is very wrong. Ive had to take 2.20 at Skybet, but thats also very good. IMVHO the odds are the wrong way round and if Ireland get anything like a decent start, taking the pressure right off, the odds will flip flop quite quickly.
Ireland may well lose, but there wont be many better 2.50 shots which are based on facts/stats, and a few other little trinkets.
Get on and thank me later
