India v Australia - 2nd test
Just been on betfair and see that Australia are 4.7 to win the second test against India. The least fancied of the three possible results.
I must admit, I haven't seen the match but from reviews it appears to be the similar sub-continent match to those of the past. Big first innings scores which make it seem like a definate draw before the pitch disintergrates and turns making it very difficult to play. Australia head into day 5 with a lead of 185 with 3 wickets in hand. Johnson and Hauritz in who can both bat a bit. Doesn't look that impressive until you read that the highest run chase at Bangalore is 194 (i.e. a mere 9 runs away) and India's highest chase is 151. I'm thinking if Australia can get another 30-40 runs then that will be a very high run chase. After all it was a struggle for India to make 216 in the last match run chase. Do others see value here or not? |

Re: India v Australia - 2nd test
Forgot to say that the weather looks good for tomorrow so surely little chance of a draw happening?

Re: India v Australia - 2nd test
Twice now Ive lost a long post on this & I aint typing it all again, but Australia cant win this with their bowling, not with Hauritz.
Caution with it being India but I can only see them getting into trouble if they dont go for it. Evs India looks good to me |
