Hello Folks,
I came across to this website and it seems good when members take active participation in forum... So i decided to utilize this forum for everyone's benefit. My favourite sport is Cricket and i normally bet on cricket matches online... So lets share knowledge with each other and create our own tips from our own research. So please looking for your co-operation. Currently South Africa's cricket team is in West Indies for 2 T20 match and 5 ODI Matches. Out of 2 T20 Match, one has been done and outcome is South Africa won by 13 runs. Which was expected by all of us, why? Because SA and WI both got crushed from T20 World Cup but compare to WI, SA team's performance in T20 World Cup 2010 was good enough. So in 1st T20 match between SA and WI, SA was favourite for all bookies where odds of SA was 1.65-1.67 and WI odds was 2.10-2.20. For 2nd T20 Match between SA and WI : SA : SA doesn't have much impressive batting line. The team actually relies on few good batsman like Jacques Kallis, Graeme Smith, Loots Bosman, AB de Villiers etc. However SA have good bowlers, who are specially good at pace bowling. This is something which can damage opposition. In last match (1st T20 Match between WI and SA) SA made total of 136 Runs. Now this is very achievable target, But due to their excellent bowling performance the WI was not even able to achieve that target. Ryan Mc Laren was man of the match who took 5 wicket and gave 15 runs only in 3.5 overs. That's really smashing... WI : Like SA, WI doesn't have much impressive batting line. Recently i read somewhere that most of players in WI depends on Chris Gayle (Captain, Batsman, Spinner). In 1st T20 Match, Chris Gayle didn't scored much, scored 14 runs in 16 balls. The target given by SA was very achievable, In fact last few T20 Matches shows clearly that the team which bats 2nd have more chances of Winning. For example There were 3 unpredictable T20 Match in past weeks. 1st India Vs Srilanka, IN scored good score and gave good target to SL, which was practically not achievable especially after losing some wicket. But still SL won the Match and They selected fielding first. Than after very unpredictable game which was T20 Match between Australia and Pakistan (2nd Semi Final, T20 World Cup). Pakistan made huge target of 191 runs for Australia. In fact Australia lost lots of wickets in 1st 10 over still they ended up by crushing Pakistan out of the T20 World Cup. 3rd Good example is Final of T20 World Cup 2010 between England and Australia. Australia set a target of 147 runs for England and England achieved that target easily with saving 18 balls. However pitch reports said that bowlers would be benefited. But it only proved beneficial to England Team's bowler department, not to Australia. So lets come to the point. WI have good bowler but doesn't have good batsman except 2 or 3. So in this 2nd T20 Match between SA and WI, i would recommend that first check which team is going to bat first. If its WI who is going to bat first and going set target for SA than i would highly recommend to bet on SA. If SA comes first in Batting than i would say it would be better if you place bet after 10 overs. Because WI has lost 1st T20 Match against SA on their home pitch. I believe losing match on home pitch is a kinda slap on a face and WI would definitely try to slap back to SA. So if SA comes first in Batting than wait for 10 overs to be completed and see the performance of Team, Run Rate and wickets. If SA has lost only 1 or 2 wickets in first 10 over than i am sure SA would give good Target to WI. However if WI would bat first than SA have more more chances to win the Match. Hope this research will work for you, However i do not guarantee on winning or losing. Thats completely upto the team, match and you. I would really appreciate someone who like cricket and would like to share such kinda of betting tips, knowledge and their research. Thanks |

Re: South Africa in West Indies
Alright, Finally South Africa won the 2nd T20 International Match against West-Indies... However the target was very very achievable just 121 in 20 overs and surprisingly West Indies failed to achieve this target and South Africa won the match by just 1 Run.... Yes Just 1 Run.
The batting Line of South Africa is poor and compare to them, West Indies extremely needs to improve their batting line and especially there fielding. However South Africa have good bowlers and they have extraordinary fielding. If today south africa is winning such matches is all because of their fielding... Next is ODI which is on 23 May 2010... I believe South Africa would remain Favorite. Thanks |

Re: South Africa in West Indies
Yeah you are right Rcgills, I am sorry, I was not trying to create secrecy, actually i have seen many times on the forum that some people take serious active participation and some other just make fun around.
However i am looking for few people like me who believe in being serious when it comes to real money. I just bet on Cricket Matches, I dont know Soccer, Hockey, Boxing or anything else... Sorry. So here i am just trying my hands and wanted to see how many people take serious interest in cricket and know deeply about the game which could help each other to make money. Thanks |

Re: South Africa in West Indies
If you post decent stuff Robert you`ll get decent replies (normally). There`s a few of us who love our cricket on here, namely me, Quandram and Swooperman, and a few others.
The windies were never gona win that game, they lack the winning mentality of years gone by. The pitch was slow and the target of 121 wasnt as bad as it first looked. Bit late now I know I must admit that Saffers batting line up wasnt that good tbh and I wouldnt have backed them at odds on having seen the starting team, though I would have been tempted by the 2/1 when they set them 121 to win. That Bosman bloke is a big liability, he tries too hard coz he knows he isnt gona get many chances, and when he gets chances he keeps messing up. Smiths days could be numbered as captain too. Kallis is very hard to get out when he`s playing well, but he wastes too many balls (in T20). The plus points are the fielding is normally immense, and Steyn is a world class strike bowler. I dont any strength in the Windies line up - even Gayle can be very hit and miss, usually miss, and when he`s out theres nothing left - his bowling is often targeted and he gets smashed regularly. The other batsmen look very nervous ALL THE TIME ! The bowlers can get anyone out, but are very wild and are often all over the show, which against the top teams simply isnt good enough and will get punished time and time again . |

Re: South Africa in West Indies
I promise my posts would be always decent... My main motto behind joining this forum is to create place where cricket lovers and bettors meet here and discuss game and with the help of their knowledge about the game creates a win-win situation.
This thread i am going to use to talk about the Series between South Africa Vs West Indies. Yet the game is on... This was just two T20 International between SA and WI. However there are still 5 ODI's need to be played. So before every ODI, T20 or Test Match I would like to post thread here and would like to discuss with all of you to spare their insight in the game and find conclusion which team is best to bet on. New series of T20 International between New Zealand and Sri Lanka is about to begin. Take part in that thread and keep update about current series between SA and WI by this thread. Thanks |

Re: South Africa in West Indies
Hello Mates,
South Africa Won two T20 International and They also won 2 ODI against West Indies and It seems that from last two ODI South Africa is improving their Batting Line and they already have nice bowling and fielding department. However West Indies is also trying to improve their Batting Line as we can see in last ODI - DM Richards made 51 Runs, DJ Bravo Made 74 Runs in 114 balls and DJG Sammy made 58 Runs in 43 Balls with six 6's and two 4's. Infact DJG Sammy almost turned losing game into winning but unfortunately West Indies was not able to hold the wickets. In beginning the game was ok but atlast the game grab the grip it became interesting... But As South Africa have good pace bowlers with good fielding and batting they didnt gave chance to West Indies to win the game... So next ODI is on 28th May and again the favorite would be South Africa and Don't forget we also have another ODI between Zimbabwe and India on 28th May. To know more about Tri-Series in Zimbabwe. Please refer to thread "Tri-Series In Zimbabwe" |

Re: South Africa in West Indies
West Indies are awful and now have about 5 players out injured, which for them is a huge problem as they have a very thin squad. Im still not covinced by South Africa`s over confidence of not actually going for it and being happy with a certain score. Yesterday they were something like 180-2 with 20 over left and were happy to take singles and they seemed to be targeting 300 ,happy enough that they could defend that and they nearly came unstuck - wheras Australia/India would have pushed on and got 330 - 350 and made sure.
The last ODI and first test are both in severe doubt due to Jamaica being shut down and on national alert. Id expect South Africa to win the series 4-0 or 5-0 ,however many games they manage to play . They`ll win all the tests too, given no rain delays etc , as the Windies just cant cope at this level - the longer the game the worse they are. |

Re: South Africa in West Indies
Another pummeling for the Windies today. Boks worth a decent bet, still around the 1.55 mark, which is bigger than in the 2nd ODI and imo theyre more sure to win this. The windies weakness`s are still there for all to see - and they have even more men out injured for this game. The bowlers took a pummeling in the last ODI and I expect more of the same. I think Hashim Amla fancies another blackberry today

Re: South Africa in West Indies
Hello Mates,
So we all know the 3rd ODI result, SA again won the match and lead the series by 3-0. However the target was quiet easy and achievable just 224 Runs in 50 Overs. Now lets get back to result of 2nd ODI, SA won the 2nd ODI by 17 runs and they gave the target of 301 runs to WI that means WI scored 283 runs in which DJ Bravo, DM Richards, DJG Sammy are the players who scored 50+ runs. Here in 2nd ODI we can say that WI has improved little bit in their batting... This time in 3rd ODI the bowling part of WI was quiet good and restricted SA at 224 runs, which is not even average of 6.0 per over but still WI lost the match. In fact many people expected that WI would win 3rd ODI by hook or crook and many people lost their bets on WI... Now we can say that SA is one of the finest team in world... If they don't do much with batting than they restrict opposite team in bowling but anyhow they manage the game well and win it... WI really needs to improve in their batting dept. Especially after looking at the result of 3rd ODI, the game was in their hands and none of their batsman were required to play any risky balls or under pressure... In fact i was expecting that this game is in hand of WI. But the match has kept me speechless... People use your knowledge of cricket and players and keep up to date this thread with some good tips... Yet 2 more ODI is going to be played so let make some money with the help of our research and knowledge. Thanks |
