Hi all,

Is anyone following the IPL at the moment? It is live on ITV4.

It is Dehli v Kolkata today. Dehli are favourite, but the odds are drifting. You can still get 2.3 for Kolkata, which I think is still a good bet. Both the teams seem pretty evenly matched and are at the same area in the league.

Anyone else have any views?

Cricinfo have a good preview and in past meetings it's 2-1 Delhi (although that relates to 08 & 09). Kolkata seem to be running into some form and if Gayle fires a decent score can be set.

I'm finding that with 20:20 being so unpredicatable, I'm waiting till 10-20 overs in once you have an idea of the target being set. Quite often this takes the odds for the favourite down to 1.6 but that normally comes in.

Sangakkara looks like he is not going to play today, with Jayawardene looking to take over as captian.

The price of 7.00 at Betfred for him being leading run scorer for the Kngs XI seems good value.
