Re: Friends Provident Trophy
Used to be a good comp
I spent many a day at places like Devon etc till the ECB decided they didnt want minor counties in the Cup, now its a dumb league format. Essex are a formidable batting team but their bowling is weak, they bully teams at home but only have Kaneira and Masters that are really any good with the ball. I expect them to be very short Sunday but wont be betting them as they are without Danish, Napier, and Ravi Bop. I would oppose them but Northants are not a good team |

Re: Friends Provident Trophy
1pt Sussex 5/6 (totesport)
If this game was being played at Hove you would be looking at 1/2 Sussex, so you are getting a bargain as having been Gloucs many a time home advantage is minimal nowdays. Gloucs have a strong enough batting line up but their bowling will let them down they are capable of getting off to fast starts but the bowlers cant stem the opponents runs.If James Franklin is the answer then what is the question?. Sussex are a much more balanced team and look a class above.. |

Re: Friends Provident Trophy
Sussex are still the better team, they lost the game when they lost the toss and were put in

Re: Friends Provident Trophy
Am not sure how good Gloucestershire really are as they only won last week due to winning the toss, problem is Surrey looked woeful these last 4 days but I assume Ramps will be back but passing on this.
Might be more to follow but at the moment 1pt Derbyshire 8/11 sportingbet. I priced this up at 4/7, Glamorgan are not a good side at all. Derbyshire cant afford to lose their homes game and especially to teams like Glamorgan. Side for side Derbyshire are much the better team Forget my username I rarely bet on my own team but this is too good to be true at the prices. Glamorgan drop to 0-2 as Derbyshire win this game |
