For a series spread punt, try Broad runs quoted at 85-95. He absolutely knows - with competition for quicks - he has to add something at 8. Has the talent, technique and growing maturity to do so. Started cricketing life as a batsman and fully expect a first Test 50 in this series.

Averages 23 with the bat in Tests.

1 pt BUY Broad series runs @ 95

Re: England v New Zealand

The price on the draw is coming in. It's hard to know which weather sites to trust but they all have rain interupting play tomorrow. Assume probably min. half a day lost in my guess. Friday is split, some say rain, some merely cloudy then dry for the weekend.

I'm torn now.

Feel whichever way i come down between England & Draw the weather and price will go against me tomorrow. Sounds a lot like its best to sit the result out for a day or jump on in-running tomorrow.

Toying with Redmond for top NZ bat - seems in good touch and appears (From the little i know of him) to be an stayer rather than the more flamboyant/hit 'n' miss options that surround him. Test debut is what counts against him though as the nerves might be up.

Re: England v New Zealand

I'll take these for a bit of interest.

2pts @ 4/5 - Broad Player performance 85+
1pt @ 5/6 - McCullum Player performance 89+
0.5pt @ 7 - Redmond Top NZ Bat

Broad will get plenty of overs as part of a 4 man attack and should be looking for a min 3 wicket return from the two innings. I think he'll do better than that. Even at 3 wickets that leaves him needing just 25 runs and as Pie mentions he's capable of that.

McCullum has been taking about 3 catches a match of late leaving 59 runs in two innings. He's capable of that and the IPL has shown him to be in good form and he did ok in the warm up games. I think this has a decent chance.

I like that Broad spread Pie but i'm not a spread betting man, yet, i've got my spreadbet cherry popping moment pencilled in for the near future.
