Can't see (obviously!) any way England can get close to a home win here. Not least Sideshow sidelined. So don't think they will go at it today with any express intent. Just look at partnerships, accumulation.

There is this thing in the camp 'taking the positives' among other yawns but if they can keep it to 1-0 apparently England stay 2nd ranking. I can see that as being a Moores' target somehow. 3rd day pitch should have no alarms.

And to make it worse, Karthik is out for 8 and I make it that if Tendulkar scores 37 or more, our bet is a loser. Unless someone knocks a real big score, the only other danger is Ganguly who would need to score 72.

Ganguly goes for 57 and is 15 runs short of beating Karthik.

So unless Laxman or Dhoni hits a century or Dravid hits 150, Karthik should finish as the top runscorer.

Can't see India batting long enough to let anyone got near a century now so should be ok. Having said that, didn't think India would bat again either!

I'd say they need 130/140-1 by lunch, & then 280-2 or 3 by tea, then slog like fcuk..........highly unlikely
