England 50 ahead with 3 in hand & Colly brings in the HS bet

England were 5.8 on Betfair just now & I really think thats a cracking price. I can see, if theyre not bowled out, England getting the lead up to 100-125 & having an hour & a half @ WIs tonight

Re: England v West Indies : Cricket

WIs closed on 83-3 with Gayle on 52 & Chanderpaul 16. These are the main 2 really, & you'd have to think that they need to bat until lunch to give WIs hope.
30 runs the difference & I havent checked the weather but I was listening on TMS & watching Sky at times & they all seemed to think tomorrows ok. Viv Richards is of the opinion that Gayle is playing for his test future & for all his potential if I was a WIs fan he'd drive me barmy....he just doesnt seem to give a flying fcuk
WIs were in the match at lunch & I really dont think this should have been a 400 track against a test attack, & tbh the WIs are shit poor as was proved by their early batting yet again. Chanderpaul stands just keeping the door closed yet again but Botham thinks they'll lose, so do most of the lads on TMS & so do I.
I had 10pnts on that 5.8 mentioned earlier, & with 98 overs due tomorrow & WIs starting 30 adrift....you'd have to say they need to bat until tea to stand a chance. Working on 100 per session that would mean a lead of 170, which England should knock off in a session, but if WIs eat away into the evening session they might stand a chance.

England win for me looking at around +110 if they do it

Awesome swoop...some more moolah courtesy of your cricketeering. Tuned in on Sunday night and layed the draw after you(and pie) had it down as a crazy price, levelled that off and plunged on some tasty odds on England last night as per your fancy, and cheered the lads home while at my desk today as they biffed the Windies all over the park. Superb again

Suppose the bloody bookies made some money though; must have been a pile of money to create and sustain those daft draw prices.

I guess there were loads off punters who had backed England at -2.5 handicap on the series before the start who were desperate to lay off some of their stake prior to the start - hence the low odds
