microsoft service pack 2

any advice on where i can get a safe torrent for the above?

been a month since i reinstalled xp on this laptop but not with service pack 2. theres a few annoying programs that need it but specifically Microsoft Silverlight

i doubt itll work on my pirated os anyway, which means my next topic will be 'where the hell do i find an alternative to microsoft silverlight?'

Their all SP3 now i believe Spacecat. Well the downloadable ones. I fitted a nice black one in my machine the other week. Ne serial requ etc. Prob have probs with it at some point. I'll look for a service pack but this looks good

ive never actually installed a service pack type program myself, will it have the same effect on my data as reinstalling windows?

ie.. do i need to back everything up?
