Re: Limewire/Vista
Right, I downloaded Limewire from my own pc onto my memory stick, checked it out and everything was fine. Took it to my sister's place and tried to install it onto her pc from my memory stick, same message
Corrupted, abort and try again. What the fck is going on, surely some of the smart cnuts can sort this out, slick, MP, Winrew. Help me you bastards!! Must be something simple surely? ![]() |

Re: Limewire/Vista
If it's not the Limewire installation files, then it's obviously something wrong with the PC/operating system. A corruct windows file rather than a corrupt Limewire file.
![]() That means you might not be able to install it without repairing the corrupt Windows file. Which file it is, your guess is as good as mine! ![]() |

Re: Limewire/Vista
Try clearing the the internet browser's cache and start the download again. It's possible that you've downloaded a corrupt version first off, then everytime you download it after that it's just redownloading the cached version of the program.
To clear the cache in Internet Explorer go into "Tools" - "Internet Options" - "Browsing History Delete" then delete the temporary internet files, etc. To do it in Firefox go into "Tools" then "Clear Private Data". |
