Backing up an external hard drive.

I was gifted a lot of valuable stuff, on an external hard drive. Any advice on how to back it up onto another external hard drive would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance

Are they both USB drives?
If so just plug them both into your pc, and copy from one to the other, just make sure when its finished copying over that the data on the new drive is ok, as sometimes when copying from USB to USB it can corrupt the data.
If you have enough room on your pc then use it as the middle man and copy the data onto you pc then copy it onto the new external drive
