'Sub Forums'?? - Page 2 - Betting Forum

Nah your ok Traeth. there's a million things in my day that takes me away from my coupon. I try to just not start anything else on a Friday but there's always something to be done. thats me 4hrs later from looking im back. Just to mention to folks that don't expekt too much change in the next couple of days as i give up such things if i can on a weekend.

also maybe why people are sceptical of the subforums as you dont see how many people are in viewsing form the forum index. Just how many in total inc the parent forum. Shit the subforums are actually children forums. Im sure there's plenty of options to change with them

. Ill wait till tomoitrrow night to do anything but there could be some emprobvement made by knowing that

ill look at adding a who's viewing subforum to main forum index too.

Good man Slick. I tried but it was far harder than i ever imagined. I turned the Novelty Forum off as i dont think the world is ready for it yet. Well thats the impression i was given. I'll try sell it to you all again in a month after Eurovision. I'm still yet to hear why its a bad idea though.

I think the Novelty forum is an excellent idea - but as a normal forum and not a goddamn 'subform'

I hate the word 'Novelty' though and I'd insist it gets changed if it ever reappeared....

I actually called it SPECIAL BETS for 2 days but i wasn't getting much reaction. then i put Paddy Power into google http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...dy+power&meta= and i realised that we could have a forum where upon i just suck up to a bookie and take what i can for us all. Then i actually thought what bookie sponsorship could mean and i realised that I DONT WANT NO BOOKIE TELLING ME WHAT TO DO so i turned off the forum and calmed down. It was an ok idea though wasn't it?

) when I noticed that Stan James call their Special Markets 'Novelty'.. Just sounds so shit...

i aint no task master rick i just believe that a chain is as strong as it's weakest link. I don't like axcuses especially ongoing ones. Either folks want to help or they don't. If they think their helping and their not then i tell them. We can't have passengers.

Actually the upshot of all this is that with the new foru design which should come into play in the next 24hrs we can get rid of ALL subforums from the main forum index and we can link them from a menu by the side or the top of the forum.

Right 'Special Bets' forum. Can anyone tell me a good reason why this shouldnt exist?

I've thought about a special bets forum for a long while but don't like being told to fcuk off

Its a great idea and will create a lot of topics of great conversation non sports related.
