General Chat Forum

The general chat forum is members only folks but your all welcome

When I open up TDP - I cant see "the chateux" on the main scree. IE: There's no Talk Sports and no Gen Chat...

Anyone else getting this?

Looks like a small flaw in our plan Funkt. Do you not see the forum tabs Funkt?

I did have this fear but no offence to anyone i thought 'who the fcuk can miss the tabs?'. I think MAIN tab needs to be called SPORTS BETTING and the NON BETTING tab needs renamed and moved to the right of the POKER FORUMS tab. Mayeb there could be further improvement too

I still think general chat should be out in the main area Komp.

I knew about the tabs but still thought GC should be one of the first things you see when entering the forum. Just my opinion.

PS WHY AM I NOT A MOD?

soz Dan. I never noticed you werent. I just took the mods off the forums (individual) forums. that must have affected it. ill go sort it out.

i think your right Dan. Maybe we should have Gen Chat and talk sports out on the main forum. then we couldnt call it SPORTS BETTING You not thin that we just need to get used to it? Im starting to a wee bit. I like clicking all the buttons to move between all the forums. Well im easy o what folks think. We can sort it between us

In an ideal world i would love to see TALK SPORTS Forum changed and a FOOTBALL BANTER forum would be up near the other FOOTBALL forums. Make it a football area. As i think ive said i feel more inclined to talk football when im up near the football forums. Wehn im down at Gen chat etc im there as i aint interested in football and betting etc. Just a thought. As i say we've room for improvemnt and if we can all agree between us then that would suit me fine

Can't GC be moved into community forum which is in the main forum tab.

You can get used to it, it's just that I think GC is important enough to be one of the first things you see when you arrive into the forum. I know you probably think not, it's ALL about the betting etc but I think it's also all about the community too and that is GC.

I aint so sure about Gen Chat being anywhre near the top of the forum Dan but im all for putting...nah actually i have to be honest Dan. In an ideal world to me Gen Chat Forum would be top of the NON BETTING forums. in a place of its own (as Poker GC should be - i'll look at moving the news) Ill go move the poker forums to show you what i mean Dan. to me its the daddy forum of all below it and ive never liked it being in the same bit as TALK SPORTS and weven worse now when we have the knockers out there.

If we had Gen Chat in a section to itself and then maybe added to the bottom of MAIN also then i supose that could satisfy all parties. Im still wary though as i would love to call the main forum SPORTS BETTING as then we would have Sports betting, Poker and Ge Chat (and the media etc) forums. 3 big forums that all in their own right good enough to mix it with any other forums of the like. thats what i would love. Maybe if NON BETTING was renamed and moved right of Poker it would help. If you want sports betting you hit the sports betting tab, nope now for some poker so onto the poker forums and then if you wanted to chat about anythign non betting related then you know that the NON BETTING tab is for you and GC stand tall at the top of them (with Talksports moved)

again though im willing to go with the general flow but folks will have to take into account that we are looking at trying to create a wee bit of order

k i suppose an alterantive solution could be to inc Gen Chat and Poker chat on the main forum as well as ...bah but then no one will care about Music, or Books etc
