Maybe you just might want to centralise the banner,also might want to put the banner in a different colour and background so it stands out, food for thought mate

Soz George i missed you there mate. I was wanting just some eye catching stylish design george and have it big so as it dont look cluttered (kind of like a roof on the forum) but truth be told ive been thinking about the lack of menu space we have especially for those that keep the toobar in. I was thinking of a less volitile one of these top right

I will put all banners up and take a screen shot of them all up and post them on this thread for folks to view tomorrow. looks like the logo on the left will alsways be there but i will have a fiddle with that. mayeb if it was smaller all in and then we could have more menu items

it can be a bugger Spacecat but i think it's great. Well as good as we can ask. Its all to do with being a bit serendipity in your searches. Im looking for 'football art'. I suppose we need to really think of the sleekest coolest way as we do need to ensure we don't look dated. thats hard with a retro-ist like me. this enbgland v scotland pic has nice colours

Any way at all Spacecat. We'll be able to recreate anything that we can do. I accidently gave this 'silver' effort a page like effect up top and now thats got me thinking that the newspaper effect could work very well. I'll go see what a proper newspaper looks like but im thinking more along the lines of a nice soft online newspapery feel. Nice black logo poss. I dunno. we'll see how it goes
