Ive Gave Up On Forums

Just popping in to mention that i i have decided to leave my position of forum member and i will be the first one to use the 'delete account' button. Ive got too much to be geting on with online and off and i feel ive outgrown forums a bit especially betting ones seeing as i dont even bet bar my scottish coupon. I'll be moving to the frontpage of TDP and i will spend my time there trying to get that into shape. I will however still be active in the Scots 1-2-3 thread in whatever user account i will be using. I have got a bit long in the tooth and i need to re-invent myself. Anyhow it's all not my concern now and i will make sure if the forums aint got anything to bring folks in then the frontpage will. I see now its two seperate enities. My work is done on the forum. Make of it what you will as all it is to me is just another part of TDP. One that doesnt concern me any longer.

It's more au evoir than goodbye. I'm only telling you so as you wonder why you only see me on a friday. All my efforts now will be doing things i enjoy and leaving links to TDP on other forums.

Thanks chaps but TDP doesnt and shouldnt need me. Im just one man. It's not all about me. Ive been posting on forums every day for 7 years now. Over 100,000 posts all in. Sick of them. Im enjoying 'transpiring' what what i have been doing. I wil lbe back in a fulltime capacity in 2-3 weeks no doubt but first im gonna get the things done we need to do on the frontpage and then take it from there. The mods should be running tDP but thats hard for them when i call all the shots and also dont even speak to any of them (nothing personal i just dont like getting involved in the disputes and there's Mick, Slick and ODM all there to deal with any probs or requests)

Anyhow i'll go crack on. We'll be a better place for it in the future although some might not agree.

Went to pick the dog up from the kennels yesterday ,i got there and was informed that it had died at the weekend

Just nine years old , poor bugger , Russell is no more , Collie Lurcher , it was called Russell because the other dog i had when i got that one was called Jack ( gettit )

Thats my lot with owning dogs , to bloody upsetting when they pass on.
Got ready to take it out tonight , then realised that it was no more , it was my routine most days , i went for a walk on my own , it wasnt the same .......

Thats it winrew. I start thinking 'whats the point?' then i just take myself off elsewhere these days and it rejuvinates me a bit. There's a few of us on TDP that have been there seen it and done it and bought hte t-shirt forumwise. still the place is taking shape and i hope in time to make the place a little more interesting for all the weary ones and vibrate and busy with loads of new posters etc. Scottie is looking for somneone to play a game of chess with Winrew if you play.

Fcuk thats a bit of a shame about the dog winrew. Not really what you expected to hear. Bah life is just cruel all in. I suppose we are all born to die though. We just get too attached. You'll get another dog no doubt winrew. My mum was the same when here wee golden cocker went last year. She got a big brown lab in and he really lightens the place up. I find myself pining for him when i dont see him for weeks.

He wasnt when we went away , the kennels are sorting a report out from the vets , heart attack supected , thats a suprise if its right because it was really fit......

Anyway , i said that i wasnt getting another dog

Always liked greyhounds , had lurchers over the years , same sort of thing , i need summat thats good with youngsters and needs plenty of excercise.....
