We did have a problem with avatars after a recent software upgrade. I don't know if it's sorted yet so hand fire and I'll get back to you as soon as I can....

Maybe it's something to do with the time difference as it's 2008 here

I think the maximum size for avatars is 80x80 so firstly make sure it's bigness falls within that range. Bigness is a word. If you need help resizing just give me a shout.
