Forum Stats

i dont know what to do with the stats. its friday night and the only threads we have are in gen chat. those that dont like t help too much and pont fingers will laugh and say 'well you should have been nicer to people and people would post' All i can say is you cant treat people with kid gloves and if you say something that they dont like they will piss off. I mean you cant fear that. People that no longer post because of me only do it as when i aint here the responisbbility is down to them. they failed and ran away blaming me. Lets not forget what makes it all happen. Lets not forget why there's another forum so popular on the back of my efforts. Lets not forget that i can do it all over again. I cant when im dong all the adminny stuff but you all dont want to hear that you want it to be great right here and right now. What makes me laugh most is that 95% of my knockers have about 1000 posts between them. Power to the troll. those with more have fcuked off as they werent up to the job or else theyre just big sulky mummy's boys.

oh aye so i turned off Gen chat from the stats. I dont know if thats good or bad so you all can tell me.

k i put them back on. Better to look like a forum that would rather talk about anything barr gambling on a Firday night than to look ike a forum that doesnt get any posts at all.

right theyve been in a while. Is there any tweaks needing done? Sometimes it dismays me when its all gen chat especially on a friday. Ways around this would be to omitt gen chat from it at weekends or else to expand it to 10. We need to encourage folks abou the betting threads. anyone any thoughts etc?

is ther eanyone like me that would like to get rid of the date and time and let us have longer titles in everything else? I dont know why we need the spaces bewteen but we do

right im gonna go get rid of the date and time as it seems too obvious to me. i may be wrong about theis so mention if if you think so. i just think it best. im a person that surfs the forum with the sidebar out and i would rather see more thred tile etc than date and time. Yes it will give us a more 'unwordly quality'. In fact i cant be arsed changing it. it will do wont it? Ok ill change it quick then and just tell me if you really think we ...nah the time is the important bit. It makes people 'urgent'. I'll leave it

man do you not care!!!! wold you let your own house get in such order? look at the mess of the stats. If i never used the sidebar i would say that our site was shite. Can you let kompressaur run rough shot over you all? have you gave up caring? Do you just trust my judgement? Do you have any better ideas? Talk to me folks. Go on talk to me. you keep coming back to the site so share with me what you know and i seem to not.

Ive never let go of the long term plan Nick. Only now i learn how to execute it but saly I KNOW im deaing with people that dont. As i say, it would be harder to run a forum if i had to expect things from others. Im a one man band mate. whatever i do it will aid the place. Just need some like minded people.

with the new tabs i think it could create a feeling of forums being hid away and an untogetherness. It wont in time but for those of us used to the old way it could. The stats excluded the non betting forums as TDP has suffered quite a bit the past year in its member and posting levels in the sports betting foums as we've lost mods and its been a long 3 years for most of the mods still here. Ended up on a friday the stats would just be general chat threads and thats really not the image that we want to portray so they all got excluded. Anyhow seeing as we've just about finished the forum i will make sure that the sports betting forums will be up there on the stats and that the stats top of forum really would be best to colloborate the whole forum for people. Yes we have the new posts page which you will find a link to in the navbar but some like me just cant get around to clicking it. Nice to see everyhting thats been going on. Ive expanded it slightly but as ever all thoughts and opinions welcome. I'll save the excluded forums though just to be on thesafe side

my prob as its always been is that its hard to get a balance between those that use the sidebar (me) and those that keep it in
