On The Ball
Hi Guys,
Im new to the forum but not new to gambling, just thought id post an article which i regularly read which I find gives me some handy football hints/tips.
There compiled by a head football trader of a betting firm so its usually pretty good stuff.
"An exciting two days of Champions League football has seen the Outright market take a different shape after Chelsea's 2-1 reverse at home to Barcelona. Jose Mourinho's men are now available at 20/1 to win the competition, however there does not seem to be much value in that considering Barcelona have only lost one game at home in the league all season. After a magnificent 1-0 victory at the Bernabeu, Arsenal are now a best priced 14/1 to lift the trophy at the Stade de France in May. However, when on song, Real Madrid are more than capable fo scoring many goals on the road and it would be foolish to presume that this second round tie is all over. Rangers face a tough task to progress when they visit El Madrigal in a fortnight's time as Villarreal have only conceded 9 goals at home in 12 matches all season against superior opposition to Alex McLeish's men. Overall, Lyon still seem to be good value at 15/2 to lift the Champions League trophy, even though they have been cut in price after their 1-0 win over PSV on Tuesday. Les Gones have been very difficult to beat all season and Gerard Houllier could well find himself emulating his succesor at Anfield by lifting the Champions League trophy in his first season in charge.
Saturday sees a return to domestic action and the first live game takes us up to Scotland for the 5th Round FA Cup tie involving Hearts and Partick Thistle, and it is difficult to see anything other than a victory for the Jam Tarts against a side lucky to progress against Inverness in the previous round. The live game at 5:15 sees Everton travel up to St James' Park to take on Newcastle. David Moyes' men have been going well in the league and have won 5 games away this season. Although Newcastle's form has improved after the dismissal of Graeme Souness, they still look very vulnerable and Everton look a big price to come away with the points at 5/2.
Sunday sees Liverpool taking on Manchester City at Anfield, with Rafa Benitez's men looking to put a disappointing 1-0 reverse against Benfica behind them. City have been a very entertaining side to watch this season but teams have found it very difficult to come to Anfield this season and score so Liverpool 1-0 at 6/1 or 2-0 at 6/1 look decent bets here.
Sunday also sees the first domestic Cup Final taking place, seeing Wigan taking on Manchester United at the Millenium Stadium. After departing early in the Champions League and FA Cup, Manchester United can only realistically take home any silverware this season through the Carling Cup and will be putting out their strongest side to ensure they will do. However, the value here has to be Wigan, who have shown they can compete with the strongest teams this season and although 5/1 for 90 minutes is tempting, 13/5 on Wigan lifting the trophy in Cardiff on Sunday looks a fantastic price, and would cap an amazing first season in the top flight for Paul Jewell's men."
I hope you find the article useful or at least something to waste a few minutes before the 1:40 at warick

Re: On The Ball
Hello and welcome Andrew. I thought you said you got good tips off the Bee Gee's My uncle Dave once got a tip from the maraca player in The Gombay Dance Band. it finished second but the guy would still say hello to my uncle Dave in the street he reckoned.
Are your employers Andrew still offering some kind of promotional introductional offer?
