At first glance it's Carlisle, Macclesfield and Lincoln for me. More thoughtful posts as the week goes on.

Re: CC League 2 25th February

Not a draw punter but surely 11/4 on a draw at Wycombe is value there? Their home record is 7-9-1 and Oxford been overall pretty tight away lately (2-3-1 in last 6 aways).

Why is a draw any less likely than in a normal game?

Re: CC League 2 25th February

Right I'd best do this now because I'm a bit busy tomorrow. I'd keep an eye out for team news though.

Barnet v Carlisle

Not looking good for Barnet this one. I know I've said this before and been completely wrong but without central defensive lynchpin Simon King and by far and away our main attack threat in Tresor Kandol I can't see us scoring almost as much as I can't see us keeping a clean sheet against an often rampant Carlisle side.

The central defensive 2 that played for Barnet against Lincoln were parted easier and with more regularity than Jodie Marsh's legs. OK so we kept a clean sheet last weekend with the same players but I'd ignore any result at Bury's ground as an indicator of defensive form as they've nowhere near the class of Carlisle and the pitch is a quagmire.

This is also still a 'grudge match' for one or two of the Carlisle players with Lumsdon coming out and saying 'I'd like to chin Fairclough' (Barnet's manager), I don't think it's really reciprocated on the Barnet side now as it's so long ago but seemingly Carlisle want to keep going with this 'payback' build up until they actually beat us. We'll have Hessenthaler back but to be frank if Carlisle can't beat us on Saturday without King and Kandol they never will. Our main chance is if Carlisle manager Paul Simpson f**ks up the tactics and if Kev Gray is out (which he almost certainly won't be).

I tend not to bet in games involving Barnet but boy is the 2.4 for Carlisle on betfair tempting.

Lincoln v Notts County - Simple really, an inform team playing good football and on the verge of the playoffs against a team who are playing badly and who's recent results reflect it. OK you can point to the fact that Notts County have played some of the better teams perhaps but they lost at Rushden and the only game they have failed to lose away from home in their last 5/6 is at hopeless Chester. 4/5 is decent but I'll be looking for evens on betfair.

Stockport v Boston - A good one for any draw systems IMO.

Cheltenham v Rochdale - Cheltenham aren't consistent enough for me to take that price.
Grimsby v Chester - Mark Wright back at Chester to shag more players wives! Oops! New manager, I'm inclined to leave it despite the fact that chester are piss poor. They've also signed a chap from Doncaster who should do a decent job for them.
Orient v Darlo - Fairly evenly matched at the moment IMO, Orient should win but Darlo may be the value.

The other games look pretty tight and I can't see much value to be honest.

Re: CC League 2 25th February

Without looking at any form Id pick out Orient to beat Darlo, after our usual couple of weeks in the play offs and getting a half decent crowd behind us Darlo, predictably we fcuk it up and slide back into midtable, Orient are right up there and they always beat us at Brisbane Rd (who is Lee Steel playing for these days ? he always scores against us) Im putting this one down to a gut feeling as opposed to us having a underachiving manager and strikers that couldnt hit a barn door, also a goalscorer we had on loan has gone back to Burnley.

Tresor Kandol is best left off the pitch anyway if you want to score. What a dire player.

Re: CC League 2 25th February

You wanted to sign him though Gaz, but Kandol didn't want to live in the north-east.

Kandol 2 in 3 for us. On Saturday he'll be replace by a striker who's scored 0 in 15 you may remember him missing a couple of glit edged chances at your gaff. I know who I'd rather have in the side. Bees keeper Ross Flitney is now doubtful, 19-year old rookie keeper Matthew Reed on loan from West Ham looks set to start. Aaaargh, he'll either be brilliant or appalling, why do I think it could be the latter!

Is that Lafferty that you've lost Gaz? If it is I would be tempted by Orient if I wasn't looking like I'll be a bit more committed elsewhere.

I was toying with the idea of having a punt on Carlisle and that was my only selection and after reading what Frodo has mentioned - it is !

Re: CC League 2 25th February

Hello Frodo and folks. Lemme see what i thought of after just being limited to the RFO all week and read up.

Lincoln i noticed mentioned and will help me as i aint convinced about them myself. Macclesfield have drawn their last 4 1-1 and i'm interested still as the h2h's suit too. Could enjoy being back at home. Are they missing that top striker they lost? 4 1-1's could suggest it maybe. They beat .....bah just noticed their away from home. Was gonna say how they beat rushden at home their only win in a bad run of 10 games. I dont know about it anymore. I went off on one. Dont mind me whats next?

I thought the same about the Wycombe draw Mr M and i could possibly add it to a draw perm. Speaking of hair ive got a big bleach blond quiff. I look like Myra Hindley

Re: CC League 2 25th February

I never meant to press Reply then. Torquay i had a wee feeling for but i think ive went right off them from looking at it on the surface. What you talking about Komp? I just meant ive been looing at it here
http://www.betbase.info/?matchid=j53037

Wrexham northampton could be a draw to me. Cheltenham i was wanting to back but i cant get the price i was hoping for. Ah Betfred bonus coupn has them at 4/5 i'll have that. I deal in trebles.

Orient im interested in but im wary of their home form. Maybe i just picked up something wrong. Seem ok at home lately to me. Nah im scared. My new younger than me girlfriend (Back of the net) thinks my saturday coupon is like her mans saturday coupon He does sections lists and promises this beautifull young lady wealth. I only do the second thing. My beautifull young girlfriend will leave me if i dont get a coupon up tommorrow so i bettter get on. She bends over and lets me lick her beautifull arse btw

Shrewsbury at home i like but im always wary of Bury away (its a me thing)

Re: CC League 2 25th February

Im a lill skeptical on Lincoln after seeing their previous h2h.

13-08-2005 League Two Notts County Lincoln C 2 - 1
02-04-2005 League Two Notts County Lincoln C 1 - 0
28-08-2004 League Two Lincoln C Notts County 1 - 2
05-04-1999 League One Lincoln C Notts County 0 - 1
10-10-1998 League One Notts County Lincoln C 2 - 3
24-01-1998 League Two Lincoln C Notts County 3 - 5
23-08-1997 League Two Notts County Lincoln C 1 - 2

and Carlisle too haha

13-08-2005 League Two Carlisle Barnet 1 - 3
19-04-2005 N L 1 Conference Barnet Carlisle 1 - 1
16-10-2004 N L 1 Conference Carlisle Barnet 1 - 3
06-03-2001 League Two Barnet Carlisle 0 - 1
14-10-2000 League Two Carlisle Barnet 0 - 2
18-03-2000 League Two Carlisle Barnet 3 - 1
23-11-1999 League Two Barnet Carlisle 3 - 0
09-03-1999 League Two Barnet Carlisle 1 - 0
03-10-1998 League Two Carlisle Barnet 2 - 1
30-11-1996 League Two Carlisle Barnet 2 - 1

But I really fancy Carlisle to get something from BArnet.
Hopefully they wont disappoint.

Cheers

Re: CC League 2 25th February

This from BBC...

Barnet v Carlisle

Barnet have a doubt over goalkeeper Ross Flitney, who is ill, with teenager Matt Reed on stand-by to make his debut after arriving on loan from West Ham. Andy Hessenthaler is fit after shaking a calf injury and Liam Hatch has recovered from a thigh injury, but Tresor Kandol serves a one-match ban.

Carlisle hope skipper Kevin Gray is fit after a foot injury, but he is rated only 50-50 to be available.

Michael Bridges returns and will play after being cup-tied.

Re: CC League 2 25th February

2/2 Carlisle and Lincoln.

Mixed feelings though as I kind of wish from a Barnet supporting point of view that Carlisle hadn't won though. We're in deep relegation trouble
