Re: CC Championship 25th February

Dunno cakes , they failed to beat Stoke away last time and Reading will be more than happy to have a home game after that shock last weekend , I'd never back against them at home this season

Re: CC Championship 25th February

Was just about to have the 2.1 on Betfair about Coventry.

They haven't lost at home since november, some 10 matches ago.

Burnley have trouble scoring goals and have 4 defeats and 2 draws from their last 6 away.

just checked Coventry's site and top-scorer McSheffrey and centre-back Williams are suspended for Saturday....

Re: CC Championship 25th February

McSheffreys a huge loss for Coventry AFU , but I still think they could take this.
God knows why I said Cardiff I must have thought they were at home.

So very little to get excited about this weekend , Reading are a bit short there . Maybe Leeds to beat Luton , they dont travel well , 1 draw 1 win in their last 11 on the road.
Leeds won their last 5 at home conceding just 1 goal.Luton of course are on a high after the Reading coupon buster last week but I think Leeds will come out fighting after a kick up the arse following last saturdays meek draw with Leicester.

Leeds 8/11 bet365 (7/10)

Re: CC Championship 25th February

This is the first week that honestly I cannot see any value in this league - don't know if value is the correct word or not but I honestly can see ALL games going anyway so NO bet - i studyied for longer than I usually do after I initially scored off all games as no bets.

Is it just me or is this weeks fixtures a fecking nightmare ?

Re: CC Championship 25th February

you're not wrong kegman , looks very drawey all over the place , I'm warming to Watford.
Already backed Leeds and Coventry (although McSheffry will have me worried all afternoon), I think Reading will win but I'd want bigger to put a smile on my face if they win.

Re: CC Championship 25th February

First thoughts

Crewe v Brighton

I might lay Crewe here as Brighton have a good record of getting a point away from home. I've yet to check the odds for the lay here on the exchanges but I'm tempted.

Leeds v Luton

Leeds are a good outfit and on a reasonable run. Luton are a weak side away and 1.72 is fast approaching value status.

Reading v Preston

Reading are a great side this year but two factors interest me on the home lay here. 1) Reading have lost their unbeaten record and I can't see them having the same belief or desperation to hold on as before it ended. 2) Preston are on a fabulous run and a draw away to Reading (who will respect their opponents run having been a form side themselves) could see this sliding itself to a draw.

Like I say - first thoughts. More from me tomorrow.

Re: CC Championship 25th February

I am only thinking out loud and perhaps fishing for a bit of feedback but I can't help thinking that the following are overpriced and are maybe worth a small interest;

Norwich 4.40

Luton 5.40

Preston 5.50

Hull 2.90

Millwall 4.33.

Norwich are the most likely out of the five

Re: CC Championship 25th February

I agree that Norwich are the most likely WAS , none of the other's really , for Preston to win would really take a huge effort and to be honest I dont think they will be after the 3 points primarily. Luton could be on a high after last week but it's a big ask to beat Leeds and they too would be smiling with a point. Millwall is a coin toss , but it is a good old price and I've said before only the top 3 teams in the division have scored more than once against them.
Palace are not firing at the mo that's for sure , I think AJ has been out but I'm not certain , anyway Norwich are playing well , lots of pace with Huckerby and now Earnshaw , thats the great advantage at this level , they'll be up for this and were apparently even showboating last week at home.
Aye I may join you with Norwich , good shout
