Welsh Premier League Jan 10th

Prices from bet365
10 Jan-19:30 Caersws v Newi Cefn Druids 1.61 3.25 5.00

This match looks like a home win to me.
I realise that the price is not much and there are more attractive games on Tuesday.
Caersws[9] v Cefn [18]

Caersws home form is not that good with Pld8 W3 D1 L4 but
Cefn away form is abysmal Pld8 W0 D2 L6 ,those 2 draws were a few months ago
Sep 17th 2005 Haverfordwest County - Cefn Druids 0-0
Oct 7th 2005 Caernarfon Town - Cefn Druids 1-1

Caersws recent form had been improving up to Saturday's 3-4 home defeat to Caernarfon.
Caernarfon had scored 4 goals after 30 minutes , Caersws then scored 1 in the first half and another 2 in the second half.
Match report HERE

Cefn lost away to Aberystwyth 2-1, Aber went 2 up and held on after Cefn scored in the 65th min.
Match report HERE

It must be noted that Cefn have recently signed 4 or 5 new players.Lets hope that they have not gelled together yet.

Caersws recent games
2006-01-07 Caersws - Caernarfon[15th] 3-4
2006-01-02 Newtown[11th] - Caersws 0-2
2005-12-26 Caersws - Newtown [11th] 2-1
2005-12-17 Haverfordwest[8th] - Caersws 0-0
2005-12-10 Caersws - Rhyl [2nd] 1-1

Cefn's recent games
2006-01-07 Aberystwyth[10th] - Newi CD 2-1
2006-01-02 Newi CD - Airbus UK[12th] 0-0
2005-12-26 Airbus UK[12th] - Newi CD 3-2
2005-12-17 Newi CD - Cwmbran[14th] 0-0
2005-12-09 Connahs Quay [16th]- Newi CD 1-0

My recommendation is Caersws v Newi Cefn Druids 1@1.61 7/10

Sorry started a new thread komp, can you join them please.
Had a couple of late nights and some audience participation on Canal Street , that Heiniken is a bit gassy ,so been farting a bit.
Suppose that's why the Welsh Customs let us through without a search.

Will need to go out for a couple tonight , otherwise I won't be able to sleep - is that a sign of an alcoholic?
Heard the terms functional alcoholic and dis-functional alcoholic today re Kennedy , I thought I was a pisshead, now I've got a posh description.

Back to the match komp
Today's preview and news from The Daily Post

Quote:
Jan 10 2006 Daily Post

NEWI Cefn Druids boss Dixie McNeil has praised the commitment of his side despite remaining rooted to the foot of the Welsh Premier.

The Plaskynaston men - who lost to 2-1 Aberystwyth on Saturday - have won just once in 17 outings and continue their fight for survival with a trip to Caersws tonight.

"I felt sorry for the lads on Saturday," said McNeil.. "I couldn't fault the commitment of every one of the players. They were the better side and deserved more, but we're just not getting the rub of the green at the moment.

"Aber's first goal was offside and their second took a massive deflection."

The Druids could be forced into one change with Matthew Cook likely to miss out through work commitments.

Caersws look to make a swift riposte after seeing their 11-match unbeaten run in the league halted by Saturday's 4-3 home reverse against Caernarfon.

Manager Mickey Evans, however, was heartened by the way his side battled back from a four-goal deficit.

Defender Hugh Clarke is expected to be fit despite suffering a toe injury and forward Neil Mitchell returns from a one-match ban.

Midfielder Graham Jones could also be back, Chris Venables is pushing for a place, but forward Neville Thompson is out.
