Re: English Leagues 1 & 2: 10th Jan

just gonna read up but as touched upon by folks Oxford are unbeaten in their last 3 aways. Puts me off Peterboro slightly. Looks to me that Peterborough are on a roll though and will want to keep up the impetus. Draw is a worry so prob no bet for me

Barnet look hard to break down. Can see another draw. Barnsley were the inform team till their last 3 games ended in draws. I know big gett1n has them in the Gett1n v Komp challenge and i can see them coming in for him. I could be interested to after reading up the thread and seeing team news etc.

Swansea's goals have dried up so i couldnt back them with any confidence. I can see it bein a partizan crowd mind with not much support for the dons. Swansea have won 5/5 midweek games this season mind.

Oldham are unbeaten in 9.

Lee Trundle is out for them, which obviously is a huge blow. Not sure how long he's been out for, but I'd guess his injury and their goals drying up are quite closely linked. They've signed Leon Knight from Brighton though, and though he may be a cheating, diving little shit, he's a pretty useful striker.

MK Dons were blown away 3-0 at Gillingham last week, although the Gills are strong at home. Was 2-0 at H-T, apparently we were pretty poor second half, but still won that second half 1-0. MK Dons haven't won in the league since the 19th November, Swansea haven't won since the 6th December, so neither team in great form. Also guess that MK's Cup game at the weekend (fighting back from 3-1 down away to Southampton to level at 3-3, before conceding a late winner) may have taken a bit out of them, whereas Swansea were resting as they were out of the Cup.

Hi Bosnich,

I'd say the most likely result in this match is a Barnsley victory, but Gillingham are in quite good form, so I wouldn't entirely rule out the chance of a draw. Maybe Barnsley with the "Draw No Bet" option (if the match is a draw, you get your money back) may be the safer option?

Another thing I forgot to mention before, Gillingham have had more than a week off now to relax after the busy Christmas schedule. Barnsley were involved in the Cup at the weekend. Not sure whether that'll make a difference, but maybe worth pointing out.

Blackpool vs Oldham

I'm looking at the 'overs' in this match @ 2.00 pointbet, as well as the AH DNB.
13 H2H's : 4 homes vs 5 aways.....Blackpool 5 vs Oldham 4...Draws 4
In this particular fixture: 2-2-2
Overs 7 Unders 6

As has been mentioned already Oldham are in good form , unbeaten in 9 with a 4 game away run of 2-2-0 GF 7 GA 4...nice stuff.
An apparently entertaining 0-0 at the weekend with leaders Southend saw them create enough chances , but fail to take them, though they did enough to move 1 place up the table.
That was the first 'blank' for them in the last 9 played , but I doubt it will have dented their confidence, and as they are the best 'first half' side and have never lost when leading at the break, I think that they may be a good bet against a poorly performing Blackpool who have won only 3 of their last 16 games , have the worst HOME form in the league, AND are the WORST performing 1st half side in the table.

This will be OLdhams 4th game in 10 days, while Blackpool have had the luxury of only 3 games in the same time, and last played on 2nd Jan where they lost out on sharing a point with leaders Southend in 89th min.

Tired legs a factor?...maybe...but overall the visitors are way the better form, but Blackpool did show signs of getting some confidence back in their last game,so best keep stakes little bit lower if you are haivng a bet.

These are some bets wuith best odds on offer on Oldham.

I'll be having a bit of the DNB and Overs.....GL

Oldham HT/FT @ 5.50 stan james
Oldham @ 2.60 stan james, multibet
Oldham AH: DNB @ 1.98 bet365, VC
Oldham " Overs'..@ 1.95 pinnacle , 10BET ( 2.00 pointbet)
Oldham to be winning at HT @ 3.25 expekt
