The Return of the 2/1+ Thread

No better time for it than now i'd say. Halfway through the season and a bit of form and somethings to consider etc. That and it being Pokal week i reckon there could be one or two of you all with a wee fancy at exotic odds.

It could be like Bad Manners once sung 'just a feeling, just a feeliiiiin (trumpet)' or it could be a carefully constructed look at the bookmakers odds and your laughing. It could be just that you see a wee bit of value in a price.

If so mention it here and it lets folks see who can pick the odds big priced winner. I'll try with Christian & AMP to keep it updated now that the place has bedded in a bit.

Feel free to mention your picks.

I do like Ayr. It is just a feeling but i really do think they'll give us a great run for our money. 12/1 on uk bookies. ill take the 11/1 and ladbrokes 33/1 ayr/ayr ht/ft looks way out of line. Aye ICT could come out and put 2 past them for ht but i still think theres a fair chance Ayr will be 2 up themselves and we're holding on for grim life at the end.

Macclesfield i like at 5/2 (skybet) too. See Div 2 thread for details.

Leeds at around 7/2 have a really good chance, Wigan tiring a wee bit now and losing a few against a Leeds side who are on 4 wins on the bounce. It's such a good price that there is no way that I cant take it

Re: The Return of the 2/1+ Thread

Have to agree with Swoops in the FA cup thread about Reading. Their recent form is outstanding, 7-1-0, and at 3.25 on Betfair I will be having something on. One other stat I like is that Reading are number one in the Championship when playing teams in the top half of the ladder winning nine and drawing twice from eleven starts. They seem to rise to the occasion.
