Is It Just Me - Signings?

As mentioned is it just me that cant seem to see much transfer activity? I know there will be a thread oin Talk sport thread on TDP but im looking at it regarding to my coupon and there seems to be absolutely nothing being done. Ive only been looing at the scots 1-2-3 but i cant see any signings to note. Isnt there usually loads of nams flying about and deals being done?

Im gonna go see. Feel like im in a dream state on the Marie Celeste with nothing seeming to happen.

Diack has signed for Stenny Komp.

Couple of possibles I have picked up on, Colin Cramb to Partick and Mark Wilson (Dundee Utd) to either Hearts or Celtic, or down south.

Graham Roberts at Clyde tried to get some of the younger Rangers players, including Ross McCormack, on loan, but was knocked back by Rangers.

Yep...its been a slightly slowish start to it all, but the clubs have a bit of time and the selling sides are sure to be bargaining a bit harder than usual as they know the clubs who come calling are often in great need of new signings.

Preston manager Billy Davies has confirmed to BBC Scotland that he is interested in signing Celtic midfielder Stephen Pearson. Davies said the club's chairman had contacted Celtic to request permission to speak to the 23-year-old. It is understood that Celtic would be willing to do business, but they would prefer to wait until their injury list has eased. Pearson has failed to hold down a regular place in the last 18 months.

Hearts have handed Australian midfielder Joel Griffiths a trial. The 26-year-old is currently with Swiss outfit Neuchatel Xamax — but he is out of contract in the summer. He has already trained with Leicester and was interesting Leeds, but now SPL contenders Hearts have jumped in. “Joel is going to Hearts, they want to have a look at him,” his agent Peter Harrison confirmed. “He will be there on Wednesday evening and will spend a few days there.”

Didier Agathe is understood to have rejected a trial with Middlesbrough.

Hearts could move for Dundee United defender Mark Wilson, who is also attracting the interest of Celtic, Leeds and Wolves. Wilson's representatives Prostar told BBC Scotland there had been a "genuine and active enquiry from Hearts". They said Hearts, who refused to comment, were "mulling over a move". Wilson is tied to United until 2008, but under the terms of his deal is entitled to talk to any club who put an offer of £500,000 on the table. "If anyone came in with less than £500,000, I wouldn't even bother looking at it," United chairman Eddie Thompson told the Scottish Daily Express. "We rate him highly and have a powerful hand because of his contract."

One I mentioned the other night that aint there - Glynn Hurst signed for Shrewsbury and scored on his debut in a 1-0 win over Wrexham.

Gary Peters has swooped already to sign Glynn Hurst from Notts County - Hurst has scored 9 goals in 15 starts so far this season and will now be Peters' number one striker.

cheers Crowie. I heard about Diak and Stenny possibly losing Cramb. I just anticipated 'more' things to have happened. Clyde could have a good finnish (cue for Cowdenbeath follow on) to the season. Speaking of Finnish() I reckon i'm gonna take Cowdenbeath to push Stenny all the way. Stenhouseuir do have the players to fill in but i think Cramb's goals will be missed. I can see the 3 brothers bringing a good bonding. Cowdenbeath will lose Downs back to Partick poss or where ver he came from. Suppose i better go find out

Cowdenbeath still 4/1 bet365 and about 7/2 in the high street. If anyone took the 7/1 on Stenhousemuir as advised ante post then maybe a wee saver on Cowdenbeath the now might make the road less rocky for you imo.

Yep, I saw something about Partick going for Paul Ritchie, not sure if he has signed.

P&B has Beath getting some St Johnstonse youngster on loan who a few Saints fans seem to rate, one reckons he will get double figures for Beath if they get him. Nowt confirmed on that yet either.

Thistle has lost Santala and the boy Dorran (?), back to Livi,. Para mentioned it in the Scot Cup thread. And Shields is away back to Gretna from Stranraer as you say Komp.
