Re: Scot's 1-2-3 2nd Jan 2006

Im just gonna have a wee snooze. I aint going out and managed to wriggle out of working. Peterhead should be missing Linn and others so i aint gonna bother. Div one nothing appeals at the mo.

Cowdenbeath i really quite like. Montrose/Arbroath will be a tough derby. Hard to call it. Albion had an amazing away record and more so at Hampden. QP have a lot of players coming back to fitness and to the 1st team though.

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 2nd Jan 2006

Hamilton v Airdrie have drawn last 3 however Airdrie haven't lost in 7 - Hamilton have signed a new player.

Accies sign Torres and McKenzie

Scott McKenzie's loan spell ended at the weekend
Hamilton Accies have completed the signing of Spanish striker Rudy Torres for a five-figure fee from Welsh Premier League side Llanelli.
And 35-year-old midfielder Scott McKenzie, who had been on loan, has signed on permanently after being released by Falkirk.

The 21-year-old Torres will make his debut in Monday's Division One derby at home to Airdrie United.

He was previously with Fuengirola, UD San Pedro and Malaga's B team.

Torres has signed until the end of next season.

Meanwhile, young local defender Paul McMullan has signed professional forms for Accies until the end of the season after being on an amateur form since October.

Defender Kevin Nicoll has returned from his loan spell with Stenhousemuir, but Accies say that the 19-year-old is likely to move on during the transfer window.

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 2nd Jan 2006

Dundee haven't lost to St Johnstone in 9 games - 5 wins and 4 draws. Hills go 5/2 where as Skybet go a skinny 15/8

St Mirren v Clyde - 5 draws in last 7 games

After studying NO BET in Div 1 this week. Some good games but ..............

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 2nd Jan 2006

Dumbarton lost last 3 ! - Morton won fixture 4th Nov 2005 4-0. 4/5 on Lads coupon looks OK whereas they have cut Morton on the net to 8/11. Tempting. Very Tempting.

Only other one is Stenhousemuir should be a banker !!

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 2nd Jan 2006

East Fife were crap yesterday, scored a soft penalty and did little else.

They actually had 2 or 3 decent chances, but are so woeful at finishing no keeper should be worried!

Think Cowden will win that OK.

Montrose/Arbroath - horrible game to bet on. Montrose looked decent yesterday, and Arbroath hae 2 points away from home all season, and haven't played a match since mid December...

I'd love to tip Arbroath... so i will! But just a small punt coz of the tasty odds

Aye, the way the team has played recently it does point towards an away victory

Saving grace for DFC ? Have a v.good record at home to Morton. I can only remember GMFC winning once at the Rock in the last 2/3 years. Sorry i dont have more detailed stats.

Tempted to lay St Johnstone and Hamilton (or back their opponent +0.5 on the Asian Handicap).

Albion are currently 5.25 @ Pinnacle. Surely worth a dabble? Although Queen's Park have been doing OK lately. Even so, the odds on the away win look tempting

1st of Jan was yeterday errr whats the transfers etc? I have to give up. It all hurts my head. Its all shit and people dont like that. What Div we on? Scvots 1-2-3 Cowdenbeath suerlky as mentioned by choban and me. Reckon we're in with a great bet poss choban and i could make cowdenbeath 1/10 for tomorrow. Aye go on laugh but they could. Tell me otherwise.

We all get wee 'things' in footballl coupon and to me Cowdenbeath even feel good. I hold my hands up. Im on them. Tomorrow all this and this is madness...

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 2nd Jan 2006

Anyone think im mad for even considering Dundee at 5/2 at St Johnstone? I know of Dundee's away record down the line and i aint read the Dunddee v airdrie reports but with St j's injuries and the unpredictablness of this div then i reckon you could get a run for your money. I might not bother. I bought all the shots on the menu list tonight as i thought it would be cool

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 2nd Jan 2006

Im for Cowdenbeath at 11/10 Corals. I'll probably take them in a few bets and maybe evenht/ft etc as its the only solid bet i can see. East Fife aint the same without their players, have a tactically inept manager and are going nowhere up against the beath with Mixu's new brother that is supposedly better than the other one. *better check he's there someone)

Heh Partick 4/5 at home in ladbrokes. How many times will they let me down at home tjough? Raith werent great in their resurgent new take over game v alloa last week and i reckon i'll take the home. aye same old story but go on Partick Thistle

I might even chance the usual suspect Morton away...nah i wont. I wont honest. Dumbarton seemed pretty stretched and weary on ssat though. Steven?

I think i gotta be on Airdrie at 11/5+ Kegman. Hamilton are as bad as thei gonna be this season and Airdrie are playing well.

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 2nd Jan 2006

Looks like you agree me with Komp in all that

I'm probably more cautious than you, so rather than backing Dundee and Airdrie, I might just lay St Johnstone and Hamilton. Can't see both the homes winning, and like you say, two away wins would be no surprise.

I'm not sure though

A few more hours to think anyway

Re: Scot's 1-2-3 2nd Jan 2006

I think i do Zonks. Looks steady enough to me. Cowdenbetah are looking better and beetter to me. I havent looked but just on feeling alone. Their like a coiled spring ready to explode and East Fife are weary. aye im gonna go as heavy as i can on cowdenbeath. Need to read up but im a leeetle drunk and theres nothing i can hear that would put me off them truth be told. Simply having a a wonderfull xmas time.
