Re: CC League Two - 28th December

I always like Bury on the road (stayed in Radcliffe for a few weeks) and im, hearing Rochdale have had a few probs latley. Looks like they are shipping goals (18 in 6). Bury(i cant help but do a manc accent when i say it) Bury are unbeaten in their last 5 aways and surely could be worth a look at 3/1+ no?

Bury unbeaten in their last 6 visits to Lisa Stansfield land (shes from Rochdale aint she?)

Boston/Carlise draw?

Hows about Torquay then? They seem to have come on leaps and bounds the last 4 or 5 games. Theyre scoring and conceding. Played some good sides and scored some goals. Stockport havent scored in 4 and have let in 12 goals. Anyone any info?

I reckon i'll be on Orient away too

Re: CC League Two - 28th December

Well, Stockport have just sacked their manager. Torquay's results have improved of late and they were 2-0 up against Wycombe (2-2 draw) and beat Bristol Rovers 1-0 last time away. Unbeaten in 6 (counting the FA cup tie against County) and scoring goals.

Stockport 4 losses on the bounce. 0 goals for, 12 against. Spanked 6-0 away to Maccelsfield last time. I'm away to top up as i've just taken 3.04 about Torquay on Betfair.....

Liked this from the Stockport match report versus Macclesfield:

There was a lack of communication throughout, and some players looked like a shadow of their former selves. Confidence has been sapped and Wednesday night's clash against fellow strugglers Torquay is an abslute must-win game.

Re: CC League Two - 28th December

Stockport Manager Chris Turner has left the club.

I could quite happily lay Rochdale for that price. Leading Scorer Holt still out and Bury looking like they're hitting a bit a of form. I was however quite surprised Rochdale pushed Wrexham quite so close.

Could lay Chester too, another loss for them yesterday despite having 4 of the 12 or so injured players back. The fact it's a big derby game takes out the 15/8 on Wrexham for me as they'd probably be happy with a draw.

In fact looking at it I think Grimsby are the only home team who deserve to be odds on in this set of fixtures.

Agree with the Bury shout. Ill be laying Rochdale if I can get odds against for the Bury double chance.

Theres a lot of short prices around in here actually for some homes which I dont agree with. Darlington, Grimsby and Peterboro all could be worth opposing in some shape or form.

Re: CC League Two - 28th December

I like the look of Cheltenham (2.82) and Wrexham (3.25) to small stakes but both seem to be overpriced at Betfair.

Cheltenham have lost only once in the last 11 and Rushden continue in poor form and are leaking goals (another 5 on Boxing Day) Their win at Chester last week was flattering as Chester had 10 players out injured/suspended. Apart from that game they are losing week in week out.

Chester still have a long injury list and although it is a bitter derby match Wrexham are a nice price to take advantage
