Sometimes you glance through a coupon as I did last night and it takes about 1/3 of a second to decide that a team must be backed.

Team news will be at a premium tomorrow especially in the lower leagues so inevitably a risk must be taken.

Cirencester played Gloucester at the beggining of March and the game ended 0-0. Since then, Cirencesters season has spiralled out of control and relegation is staring them in the face.

They managed a draw against on out of form Hitchen but otherwise they have lost all 7 of their other games since their last meeting with Gloucester.

They lost the services of a number of first team players because of divided loyalties with a college side for whom they also played and they have not been replaced. They have had to draft acadamy players in to fill the gaps.

Gloucester are no world beaters but they are in mid table with no prospect of promotion or relegation. Draws against Bath and Halesowen in recent weeks are respectable They have also beaten Wealdstone and most recently Rugby and the only loss since the last meeting with Cirencester was a 0-1 defeat to Chippenham who are in the play off picture.

All in all 11/8 is good value on a Gloucester victory.

Yeah, can't comment on Margate, as I haven't seen them for a while. Also Ramsgate match was a day earlier, so an extra day rest. May be a good bet, but Margate will have to be very poor to lose IMO.

I agree with you on this one. Cambridge must fight for their lives while Dagenham might still be celebrating. Maybe they will rest some players too and let some reserves play? Dagenham have a game to play on wednesday aswell. Away to Northwitch.

I would also like to mention Southport vs Burton. Southport are really in big trouble, but two victories in a row has suddenly given them some hope and they could be heading for three more points against Burton. One win in their last five games now and eight matches away from home without a win is bad for a team who wants a playoff-spot.

Cambridge United welcome Conference champions Dagenham & Redbridge to Abbey Stadium hoping they can secure a crucial three points on Monday.
U's boss Jimmy Quinn could be boosted by the return of Chris Flynn and Andy Duncan for the visit of John Still's side, who will be playing in the Football League next season.

Broms mentioned Leek and Prescot and they were also both on my shortlist as well. The prices on offer do represent good value and I have decided to punt both.

The simple explanation in each case is the respective recent form of the teams involved and the prices are not in line with true chance of each. The bookmakers have priced them on current league positions together with an element of must win. Hence good value in our favour.

The Leek forum published a rathing telling league table based on results from 1.1.07. Prescot and Leek occupy healthy positions compared to todays opponents Hednesford and Ashton who languish at the other end of the table.
