Re: Llanelli v Grange Quins

the match report from the Western Mail to complete this thread ,there is no such thing as a "cert" , if I post such a thing again please let me know

Llanelli 1-0 Grange Quins

Quote:
A SECOND-HALF strike from Antonio Corbisiero was enough to give Llanelli an elusive win and arrest a run of indifferent results that has seen them lose three of their previous four Welsh Premier games.

The Reds just shaded it, but poor finishing let the Quins off the hook, until Corbisiero pounced to hit the winner in the 72nd minute and send the luckless visitors crashing to a fifth consecutive league defeat.

At least the Quins' leaky defence, that had conceded 22 goals in the previous four outings, kept its shape in a more competitive game than in recent times.

In a dour first half, the neutrals would have been hard pressed to identify the full-timers as Dale Raven went close to putting the visitors in front with a shot that drifted just wide of the target from the edge of the box.

The decisive moment came from a quick break, with debut-making Kaid Mohamed, the former Cwmbran front-man, deceiving the visitors' defence with a clever dummy that let in Corbisiero to drive home.

On this evidence, Llanelli will do well to maintain mid-table mediocrity, while the Quins face the prospect of a difficult New Year.
