The 4k? Yeah, I never did get that from two seasons ago even though the guy is now involved with a poker site.

This is somewhat different though. AC Milan Sponsors Bet and Win (BWin) whom I dislike almost as much as PL have magically turned a 1.9 shot into a 3.45 shot. It's 2.85 now but that's still a massive difference and I'd had some of that as well.

As it is my bet is still "open" and the odds still 3.45. I posted on two forums after I saw the odds and I see that it's been posted on another forum also.

So there's going to be a few of us in the same boat and it's all nice and public if they try and weasel out of their bet.

I've been in many similar situations before and the first thing to do is to check that it's > 100 % book. This one was but as you can see now the odds have been reversed for the home / away.

Still, this wasn't immediately realised as the price went down to 2.85 then 2.7 and finally it was removed to be replaced with the 1.8.

I still have doubts about being paid put given BWIN's deservedly bad reputation but we shall see. Let's hope Maidenhead do the business first and then worry about it...

Aye good luck with it AMP. I'm trying to remember if ive ever had any joy before When i think of it my bets on things have been so glaringly out that really i can't blame them for not paying me really. I know it's a cut throat world etc but sometimes the companies do have rights. If they pay it out to you AMP then hats off to them i suppose.

Might get away with it, fingers crossed but I think it's pretty rare for bookies to pay out under that 'obvious error' rule. Here it is in Will Hills terms and conditions:

We cannot allow for mistakes or accept responsibility for any errors or omissions in respect of the announcing, publishing or marking of prices, runners or results despite our every effort to ensure total accuracy. We reserve the right to correct obvious errors.

Bet365 I recall Slick saying, paid out on an absolute cracker a while back. I posted it up in another forum one day that they had, I think it was: 1st goal after 29th min Liverpool v Celtic @ 6/1 Slick got on but when I went to place my bet they'd sorted it. Bet365 are one of the nicer bookies though.
