Re: English League Two 29th Oct

Im planning a day of hell raising and getting up to no good tomorrow so i'll be limited to Hills on saturday. Lemme see what i could be interested in.....

Boston @ 8/11. Mibbess. Boston in good form and Torquay's revival not happening yet. Be interested in reading Torquay's last home game last week when the bust a few of us.

Grimsby away? Northampton aint the best at home. Maybe has low scoring draw all over it. I dunno :loon

I like Chester on the road and they wont have far to travel to shrewsbury i presume. Oh Wrexham at home. I like Wrexham at home.

What you ALL think?

I too had Chester down on my shortlist Komp but looking at the h2h Shrews won 5-0 last time (ok it was end of last season 26/2/05) and a lot of water has passed under the bridge since then.

Naw bollox - away win.

Re: English League Two 29th Oct

Well, Chester have just caught my eye. The main reason is that I went through Shrewsbury's games in some detail recently and concluded they were shit and really rather lucky in most of their games. They are a bit trickier at home but I simply don't rate them. I think Chester are worth looking into @ 2.75 with Stan James and UKBetting.

Re: English League Two 29th Oct

Yeah Shrewsbury are shite lucky buggers aint they and with Chester your guaranteed goals.

Oxford in my opinion are overpriced away to Leyton Orient. The games in thid division alawys seem to be tight and when your looking at over 3/1 you usually are getting some value, ive said it many times but your just as likely to get an away victory in this division than a home'un.

Two decent sides going at it and it could go either way and I think ill side with the value in the away at 10/3

Leyton Orient vs Oxford 1pt@10/3

Dont pop in here often but Id like to back up Christianu on Oxford.

If they go low enough on Betfair ill be laying them as part of my 'Jays Lays' system. And you dont get a higher recommendation than that

Yes,I like this one too.It seems everithing points on home win.Boston is plaing exellent lately (10 games w/o lost),only missing is striker Whelan and they are real powerforce at home.On hte other side we have struggling Torquay with too many iternal poblems and with real bad performance lately.Supporters of club are becoming louder aginst coach, who is travelling 200 miles each day.
he also get few days of before the game.Ad to that they have some selection doubts. So i am high on Boston(1,70 at my lokal)

Re: English League Two 29th Oct

from racing post-

Quote:
Outlook grave for knackered Notts at Bury .... Mark Langdon

Bury v Notts County - Bury, 4pts 6-5 (Bet Direct)

BURY are going places under Chris Casper and the youngest manager in the Football League can take three points from Notts County at Gigg Lane today.
Casper, a commanding centre-back in Manchester United’s youth teas of the early 1990s, was earmarked by Sir Alex Ferguson as a future gaffer at just 16 years of age – and 14 years later Buryare gaining from the Scot’s prediction. Graham Barrow was unfairly sacked by the Shakers, yet at least the board have got his replacement spot on. Bury are unbeaten in five league games and Casper’s boys are decent value at 6-5 to beat a County team treading water.
Bury were excellent at high-flying Chester last time out and Casper was gutted at the resultant 1-1 draw. However, the football was decent by League Two standards and the return to fitness of Matt Tipton is a huge boost.
The striker has managed only one goal this term, but a tip-top Tipton is capable of hurting any side at this level.
And Notts are not that hot at present. They are without a win in ten and morale may not be high after coach Gudjon Thordarson called the players in on their day off after the 2-1 defeat to Boston to demand they do 75 laps of the pitch.
County have since lost by three goals twice since and were dreadful in a 0-0 home draw with Carlisle last week.

Boston Utd v Torquay - Boston, 2pts 3-4 (VC)

IT’S difficult to work Torquay out after a weird season and a very strange week and they face a tough assignment at Boston today.
The Gulls were among the promotion favourites pre-season, yet a relegation battle now looks more likely and boss Leroy Rosenior was given the week off to assess his future after an approach from Bristol Rovers.
Assistant coach Richard Hancox has been taking training and Rosenior‘s the sabbatical may be just what the doctor ordered.
At some stage Torquay will come good, but York Street is not the ideal venue to kick-start your season.
The Pilgrims started slowly but are unbeaten in ten and three home wins on the spin suggest a promotion party is on the cards.

Carlisle v Stockport - Stockport, 1pt 3-1 (Skybet)

STOCKPORT boss Chris Turner told Racing Post readers yesterday: “By the end of the season I want to be halfway up the table or even in the play-offs.”
If CT is right with his assessment then the Hatters are a mad price at 3-1 to gain maximum points from their trip to Carlisle.
It has taken Turner a while to mould a team. Many players have left over the past 18 months – most of those going to higher division clubs. But the Turner revolution is now beginning to take shape and last week’s 4-2 success over Northampton suggests County are overpriced here.
