News from BBC:

Quote:
Sheffield Wednesday hope striker David Graham (calf) and defender Graham Coughlan (concussion) will recover in time to face Brighton.

Steve MacLean, Drew Talbot, Drissa Diallo, Steve Adams, Paul Heckingbottom and Jon-Paul McGovern are still out.

Brighton will be without midfielder Richard Carpenter (foot) for six weeks. French winger Alexandre Frutos is expected to replace him in the line-up, although Frutos' wife is expecting their first child on Tuesday.
Sheffield have a lot injuries,.

From Sky Sports:

Quote:
Both clubs have struggled to accumulate points this season but victory for The Owls on Monday would lift them above Brighton.

Owls boss Paul Sturrock has been desperately trying to add to his attack in the build-up to the game and had a bid for Swansea City ace Lee Trundle rejected. No new signings have been added to the squad as Sturrock continues to be without Steve Adams, Drissa Diallo, Paul Heckingbottom, Steve MacLean, Jon-Paul McGovern and Drew Talbot. is also waiting on the fitness of Graham Coughlan (concussion) and David Graham (calf), with the duo expected to feature at Hillsborough.

Brighton travel to the Steel City on the back of a five-game unbeaten run away from home and they have few injury worries.

Richard Carpenter is out with a foot injury and his absence could hand Alexandre Frutos his first start for the club, providing his pregnant wife does not give birth on Monday.

Alexis Nicolas is back, although Jason Dodd is missing, and Charlie Oatway and Gary Hart have shrugged off knocks.

Re: Championship: Sheffield - Brighton 24th October

I had a look to the squad list of Sheffield. But the whole injury list played 5 matches in total

Steve MacLean - pld. 0 matches (forward)
Drew Talbot - pld. 0 matches (forward)
Drissa Diallo - pld. 2 matches (defender)
Steve Adams - pld 1 match (midfielder)
Paul Heckingbottom - pld 0 matches (defender)
Jon-Paul McGovern - pld 1 match (defender)

Three defender, two forwards and one midfielder are injury. The squad is quite small tonight. But the important players like David Graham and Lee Peacock in the offence,Chris Burnt,Chris Eagles and Glenn Whelan in the midfield and the defender Simek,Wood and John Hills are available, also Keeper David Lucas.

The Brighton midfielder Carpenter is injury too.He played 12 times for Brighton and shoot one goal.

Re: Championship: Sheffield - Brighton 24th October

I've had a loook and imho if this was in a list fixtures it would not attact a bet from me.

As it is on its own it should still attract no bet.

Having read RP,BBC etc etc I still have no inkling how game will pan out.
(maybe why so little interest in game)
If forced to punt would be 0.05 pt on no goalscorer.

Save yourself for later in week.

As mentioned elsewhere Hibs look good at 2.10
