Sheffield Wednesday hope striker David Graham (calf) and defender Graham Coughlan (concussion) will recover in time to face Brighton.



Steve MacLean, Drew Talbot, Drissa Diallo, Steve Adams, Paul Heckingbottom and Jon-Paul McGovern are still out.

Brighton will be without midfielder Richard Carpenter (foot) for six weeks. French winger Alexandre Frutos is expected to replace him in the line-up, although Frutos' wife is expecting their first child on Tuesday.

Both clubs have struggled to accumulate points this season but victory for The Owls on Monday would lift them above Brighton.



Owls boss Paul Sturrock has been desperately trying to add to his attack in the build-up to the game and had a bid for Swansea City ace Lee Trundle rejected. No new signings have been added to the squad as Sturrock continues to be without Steve Adams, Drissa Diallo, Paul Heckingbottom, Steve MacLean, Jon-Paul McGovern and Drew Talbot. is also waiting on the fitness of Graham Coughlan (concussion) and David Graham (calf), with the duo expected to feature at Hillsborough.
