Well, Wolves have to look good, & I wouldnt rule Soton out @ Preston.

Watford were poor @ Coventry tonight & Leeds may be worth a look although Watford habve been strong I think they were missing some tonight.
Coventry @ Sheff Weds ??

Millwall awy from home for me straight away. Looks too big a price. Hull are no mugs at home mind but it looks like one of them games Millwall win to me on forst glance.

Norwich look interesting at Brighton imo too but i dunno. Brighton dont give much away bit dont score many either do they not? Are Norwich reminicant at all of their squad last year? Coventry? Leeds? Palace? Paace fans and players should enjoy their wee trip over to Shepherds Bush imo.

Cardif and Derby look like drawy games to me. Didnt Plymouth give stoke a hammering last season? Preston/Southampton is score draw to me,

Re: English Championship 30th/1st/3rd

Disagree with the Derby Leicester draw prediction Komp. Two ex Premiership teams who are both an underperforming steaming pile of crap who need to be picking up more than one point a game to be where they want to be.

The Derby crowd are not happy that their best player has been sold behind their backs in such a sneeky fashion and, although the manager is blameless, they will be quick to voice their displeasure at their league position if they are not winning by half time on Saturday, urging their team to attack and probably ensuring that the game is an open one.

I wouldn't like to say who's likely to win the game but the draw is the one result I would be happy to lay.

Re: English Championship 30th/1st/3rd

Plymouth against Stoke should be interesting, Tony Pulis up against his old side who sacked him for not buying enough Icelandic players . Quite like the look of Plymouth for this, Stoke have conceded 6 goals in a week with two heavy home defeats against Wolves and Cardiff. Plymouth just one defeat in their last 4 and that was away to Sheff Utd. Pulis will have something to prove in this one.

Also like the look of Leeds at Watford if King and Henderson are still going to be out for Watford.

Re: English Championship 30th/1st/3rd

from wolves web site

Bully's Bet

I think that tonight's game with Burnley will be a close one - but I think we will edge it by 2-0.

Burnley never make it easy for you and they will be on a high after their 3-0 win over Ipswich on Tuesday. But, on the same night, we were superb at Crewe so hopefully we will carry that form into the game tonight and get the three points.

Kenny Miller and Carl Cort have been flying in recent weeks and I wouldn't bet against them adding to their goal totals.

On Saturday you don't have to look much further than Reading v Sheffield United for the top game - second against first. I think I'll sit on the fence with this one and go for a draw. I don't think there will be many goals so I'll say one all.

Another interesting one is Cardiff v Luton. Cardiff are unbeaten in eight now and Luton, as we all know, are the surprise team in the division. I think that they may just sneak a 1-0 away win at Ninian Park.

The rest of my predictions are:

Hull v Millwall (Friday) 1-0

Brighton v Norwich 0-2

Derby v Leicester 1-1

Ipswich v Crewe 3-0

Plymouth v Stoke 1-0

Preston v Southampton 2-1

Sheffield Wednesday v Coventry 1-1

Watford v Leeds 3-1

QPR v Crystal Palace (Monday) 1-2

Re: English Championship 30th/1st/3rd

Things not looking good for Burnley according to Football365's preview;

Wolves manager Glenn Hoddle will be without Jackie McNamara for the clash with Burnley.

Full-back McNamara had been expected to return from a knee injury for the clash with Crewe in midweek but sat out as his side cruised to a 4-0 victory.

Midfielder Colin Cameron shook off a knock he picked up in training to play in that game and is expected to keep his place.

Veteran midfielders Darren Anderton and Paul Ince are both making good progress on respective shin and thigh problems but are a long way from a comeback.

Burnley boss Steve Cotterill is sweating on the fitness of skipper Frank Sinclair.

The former Chelsea defender played through the pain to help the Clarets record only their second win of the season in the 3-0 victory over Ipswich and has been unable to train since.

Fellow defender and on-loan Wolves prospect Keith Lowe is ruled out due to the terms of his temporary move to the Clarets.

John McGreal (foot) is is doubtful after missing the midweek victory, while the game is expected to come too soon for utility man Danny Karbassiyoon (groin).

Wayne Thomas (knee) is out for the season and goalkeeper Danny Coyne may also be forced to sit out the rest of the campaign with a serious knee problem.

You'd expect following on from Wolves recent wins at Stoke & Crewe that they should win this easily, with the injuries mentioned above i can't see Burnley winning but at the same time Wolves tend to draw games they're expected to win. If i could get 4/6 i'd play on Wolves otherwise no bet.

Ipswich are my choice of the weekend, although they haven't got the calibre of players they had last year they still should be far to good for a Crewe side who only won twice in 32 games.

Re: English Championship 30th/1st/3rd

Sorry guys I do most of my work later on today so ill get all the info for you not too long from now. In the mean time:

Wolves

Hull

Quote:
Hull defender Mark Lynch returns from suspension for the visit of Millwall.

The summer signing from Sunderland was dismissed in last weekend's 2-1 victory at Coventry and served a one-match ban for the midweek defeat at Norwich.

Peter Taylor's injury-hit side are again without Ian Ashbee, Keith Andrews and Steve McPhee, Alton Thelwell, Robbie Stockdale and Danny Coles, who is sidelined for the rest of the season with a serious knee injury.

But former England striker Nick Barmby is set to return after missing the Carrow Road reverse with a slight knee injury
Lots of injuries still.

Milwall

Quote:
Jody Morris will not play for Millwall until 15 October after being hit with another one-match ban.

The 26-year-old midfielder was suspended for the 1-1 draw with QPR on Tuesday following his sending off against Cardiff last Saturday.

And following an FA hearing, Morris will now sit out Friday's match at Hull for remarks made to referee Andy D'Urso after he had been dismissed against the Welsh club.

The former Chelsea man will be available for Millwall's first game after the international break, which is at Norwich on 15 October.

Defender Mark Phillips was expected to recover from a hamstring injury in time for the game - but manager Colin Lee may opt to leave him on the bench once more as Matt Lawrence and Ady Williams looked solid in the central defence in the 1-1 draw against QPR on Tuesday.

Striker Ben May has recovered from a back injury and is vying with Carl Asaba for a place alongside top scorer Barry Hayles in attack.
Morriss will be a loss.

Ill be back with better info chaps.

Re: English Championship 30th/1st/3rd

I gotta admit i think this is the sort of game Millwall win. Millwall after a slow start are unbeaten in 4 including 2 away wins at Wolves and Shef Wed. Hull's nice stadium wont hold any fear for them. Hull 1 win in 6. Totesport are having a laugh aint they offering 3/1 on Millwall?
