Preston v Southampton

Preston have a patched up defence and a patched up forward line.

They are short of Nugent and short of central defenders with the latest casuaty being Davies. They lost 3-0 at Luton in midweek and defensive errors accounted for at least two of the goals.

Preston are struggling at home and they tried desperately without success to bring in two loan players.

Some of you will think that Southamptons running sequence of 6 draws in the league should mean that this game should be left alone especially as they have failed to score in their last 3 games. They have dominated in most of those games though and I will tip them to have a change of luck in view of Prestons defensive frailities.

Southampton 4pts @ 2.82

I don't think luck is the problem - they just don't score.

I traded back my loss to 1.19 on the Wolves game. Wish I had taken 8 - 1!
